Taehyung sprinkled the autumn leaves all over me, causing me to giggle.
As I shook the leaves out of my hair, Taehyung sat back on his heels, watching me with an adoring smile.
"Hari?" He called for me.
I tilted my head, "Hm?"
"When people look at you... what do you want them to see?"
I smiled at him, laying down on my pile of leaves.
"That I'm happy now," I answered him.
I thought back to how I've always tried to hide from those around me, afraid that they'll see my bruises or unkempt appearance and start talking. If only they could see me now. How happy I was and how free I felt.
"Ah..." Taehyung grinned as he poked my cheek.
I turned and gave his finger a peck. "What about you?"
His next words took me by surprise.
"How much I love you."
I turned to stare at him with round eyes.
He dropped his gaze to my lips before picking it up and locking eyes with me.
"And how I did all this for you."
My heart flipped and my eyes teared up before I placed my lips over his.
I wish that people looked at you and thought the same...
