I was walking through the halls to get to my locker when I heard a group of guys yelling when I noticed don I walked over there and did our handshake we made up yesterday during class. Oh I forgot to say me and don have gotten close like in friendship terms and nothing else if y'all are wondering as we did our handshake I felt someone burning holes at my ass so turned around and saw melo so I smiled and said "aye how you been bro" "sup mariah I've be chilling hbu" " I've been good too" I turned around to see a confused don "yo you guys know each other?" " oh ya we met before school started at Olive Garden" I respond looking between don and melo "ohh ok cmon mariah we finna be late to class" said don "ok bye guys see ya later" I said as I waved bye to everyone

We just got out of 4 period me and Eli walked to the lunch room, we met up with don , n these two still laughing n talking about my feet like it ain't that funny 😞
We walk towards our group at the table and they ask why they laughing so hard while I'm mugging them, don then picks me up " yo wtf put me down don" I say " hold up, man look at her feet look how small it is" don tells them laughing he then takes my shoe off and compares it with Melos and they all start bursting out laughing while I'm there pouting " man it ain't even funny like I am not a midget nor do i have small feet I would say that I have normal sized feet" I say it got silent for about 4 seconds while they looked at each other and started laughing again but this time harder they were even tears coming out of Melos eyes " aye but fr y'all down to come to my place after school" melo asked all of us everyone said ya except for me "you coming mariah?" As we were walking in I heard a loud voice saying "lamelo is that you" "ya" melo said back opening the door wider so we could all walk in " so what you guys trying to do?" Lavar asked me " um not at the moment because I came late into the year and so tryouts for the team are done or the season already ended"I responded Tina them speaks up "so mariah are you and my son dating" Tina says wiggling her eyebrows "um no me and him are only friends we just meet" I say looking at melo blushing "is melo blushing"lavar says laughing with the rest of the group "n-no it just got hot in here" melo says making everyone laugh "it cuz I'm here" I say laughing with the rest of them soon people with cameras walk in and start recording I look around and get confused melo noticed and looked at me making head movements letting me know to follow him he gets up and so do I as I follow him we stop at a hallway "it's for the show if you don't want to be in it or feel uncomfortable just tell me and I'll tell them to blur you out"Melo said looking worried "I guess it ok thank you tho"I say hugging him he hugs back and it stays that way for over I think maybe a minute , we heard someone cough and looked at there direction "so what going on between you guys" don says lifting his brows while smiling at the both of us "nothing, did anyone else see?" I say "um I dont think so except for the people that watch the show"don says skipping away laughing while the camera crew stand there hiding the cameras after that Me and melo turn a light shade of red as we look at each other, "not even going to lie if don didn't come I would've hugged you longer"melo says looking down "I mean I could barely reach you without squatting down but I still enjoyed it" melo says making me blush more "same tho" I say back not knowing what to say, after that Melos drove me home and that night all I could think about was that hug it felt right to be in his arms I felt save it just felt natural and comforting like I could've stayed hugging him the whole night and I would feel comfortable,
I soon put my alarm and fell asleep until I heard my phone ding it read Melo🏀💞:goodnight 💞 I smiled and texted back goodnight and fell asleep
