Chapter 73

"I-it's huge..." (A.n: consider it to be like in the picture)

You say, as your eyes stare towards the tall gate in front of you. You can see a little bit of the compound from outside of the gate.

The structure of the house is like a traditional japanese house. The people walking in there also wear traditional kimono, with a symbol at the back of it. It's a red and white fan.

Not just them. Ever since you enter the main gate into the village, you saw that symbol everywhere.

A lot of people are wearing it, and some even have that symbol plastered on their houses. Not to mention that every house is a typical traditional house.

Just what is the symbol?

Why do you feel like you have seen it somewhere?

And as you walk, you reach this house. It is at the centre of the town.

As far as you can see, it looks so traditional and huge. It's as wide as three soccer fields.

A man, probably in his forty's greets you.

You just smile awkwardly at him.

"Um... i come to meet yuri. Uchiha yuri."

The man looks surprised.

"And may i know your relationship with yuri-sama?"

He asks again.

"We're friends. Best friends. Both of us study in konoha high."

The man thinks for a while after he heard your answer.

"I see. I'm sorry, miss. But they are in the middle of a meeting right now. I'd love to let you in, but I'm afraid that it is wrong for me to do so without permission from the main family. They are the residents of this 'minka.' I have no authority to allow you, unless i got the permission from them."

Your head spins for a while.

They are having a... meeting?!

"It's okay, teyaki. The meeting is over."

A sudden interruption startles you.

That's... itachi.

"I know this girl. Open the gate and let her in."

He orders the man called teyaki, and the latter obeys.

"Alright, itachi-sama."

He opens the gate for you.

You bow towards him and enter the huge uchiha compound. Then, you go to itachi's side.

He is wearing a yukata, with the same fan symbol at the back of it.

This has really got you curious.

"I didn't know you'll come for real."

Itachi suddenly speaks, causing you to startle.

"Y-yes?"

He turns to look at you.

"Coming here might not be the wisest thing to do, (name). But never mind, since you're here already. I'll call out yuri for you. Follow me."

The man starts walking, and you abruptly follow him. Meanwhile, you observe the structure of the house.

It is a typical traditional house, with each building connected to each other via hallways. While walking, you can see gardens in the left and right of the house, giving a very beautiful and soothing scenery.
