Chapter 28 Recap

"okay my dear daughter, you know that I like to get down to the business, so please tell me what you needed help with that you brought all your family down to Germany?" he said lifting his right leg up resting it on his left, he took a cigar placing it in his mouth while his son standing beside him lit it. He pointed a cigar towards Richard who mumbled a no thank you.

"My grandson is poisoned and the only person that has the antidote, in the world is a man in Germany, father I need your help to find this man before nightfall tomorrow or my grandson will die vater (means father in German) please," tears slide down her cheeks her father looked unmoved, taking a puff of his cigar, he smelled the cigar then looking up at his daughter

"I know who will have the antidote, he is a friend of your uncles and if he doesn't have the antidote a friend of his will, but you my daughter, know me so well. I will not do anything without a price. What will you give us for this favour?" he said smiling evilly at his own flesh and blood this guy was as insane as Lucinda. All of us stiffened what the hell would this guy want he had everything, a massive house, three wives for his sexual needs and by the looks of it his children to slave around for him.

"What is it that you want?" she murmured but he heard her loud and clear,

"I've been looking for another wife, someone young and beautiful but not a German woman, they are getting boring I want someone exotic, and that woman in your son's arms is stunning. The girl for the antidote" he said looking at me licking his lips; I stiffened in Blade's arms.

"What the fuck? Are you insane?" Linken said standing up practically picking Elena up and pushing her towards Richard, he came to stand next to our settee; Blade was holding me tightly it almost hurt he was looking at Natasha's father with pure hate his body was shaking next to mine, Natasha's father was looking at me amused I returned his stare with disgust.

"Shall I arrange things for our wedding, my dear?" he said smirking at Blade.

Blade stood up pushing me behind him, "Darren get Ben out of here" Blade was pissed to the max, he had his fists clenched, when he heard the doors close he ran to Natasha's father moving like a lion.

Three things happened at that very moment Mathew yelled into a microphone "code red," Natasha's brother got hold of Blade before he reached her father, and pinned him to the floor it tuck three of them to hold him down, Linken moved towards Blade but another one of his sons pushed Linken back pulling a gun out of his trousers and pointing it to Linken's head.

"If anyone moves he dies" he said everyone stopped in their tracks, there was an eerie silence for a few seconds were everyone looked at each other, waiting for someone to fracture the intense stillness, it was like everyone one was frozen. There was a scream outside the door, the door Ben and Darren had walked through my heart beat increased, fear creped through me I moved to get to the door but Natasha's sister stood in my way I tried pushing past them, the door flow open men in SWAT uniform filed in I tuck a step back in shock I heard the clatter of metal hitting the floor, I turned around the guy that had his gun pointed to Linken was clutching his hand pain evident on his face the SWAT men came in pointing their weapons at all of Natasha's family, her father had stood up his cigar on the floor his mouth hanging open, I rushed past the women running to the door, I pushed it open there sat Darren and Ben safe on the floor, I sighed walking to them Darren sat up pulling Ben with him.
