Y/n POV today was the day. i was meeting finn wolfhard. i was waiting line for the photo op when it all hit me, there were only two people in front of me. Then I would be hugging the love of my life. Tears started prickling at my eyes and when the girl in front of me went, I started crying really hard.
"Do you want a minute to calm down?" One of the employees asked me, holding my arm gently. I nodded my head yes and took deep breaths to steady my breathing.
"Hey! What's wrong? Are you nervous? Scared?" finn asked me, looking at the employee. He ran over to me and faced me by squatting down a little," there's nothing to be afraid of! I'm not gonna bite!" He chuckled, putting his hands on my shoulder, giving me a minute.
"I'm sorry, it's just i love you so much and i thought this day would never come and now your right here, and I'm an emotional wreck." I cried out, finn only pulled me into a tight hug, rocking back and forth.
"Shhh it's ok, it's ok. I'm just as normal as anybody else. It's gonna be ok. I love you so much as well! Don't forget that! Are you ok?" He said, leaving my arms but looking me in the eyes. I said yes and he stood up and put his arm on my shoulder.
"So whatcha wanna do for your picture?" He said, standing next to me.
"Oh god. Sorry I didn't have anything planned out!" I face palmed myself and he shot up after a moment.
"I know!" That's all he said before getting on his one knee and pulling me closer to him so that our faces were touching and he hugged me again. It felt... comfortable," smile!" I heard him say before he closed his eyes tightly and made a wide smile.
"That was awesome!" He said, standing up and smiling.
"Yeah, it really was! c-can i hug you one more time?" I asked him, stuttering over my words.
"Yeah! Of course!" He said, walking over to me and giving me a big hug.
"Thank you so much. I love you." I whispered into his shoulder, hugging him tighter.
"I love you too. Thank you for everything!" finn said parting away from me," see you at the signing!" He said as i walked away. Best day ever.
