Hi and welcome to, 'for June', a Watty Winning Romance story.
I started scribbling this story in a notebook some years ago, struggling to write because I had massive writer's block. Every word I wrote felt like garbage then, and I was in a funk. Then one day, Chad popped into my head, another struggling author, and I just had to tell his story as best I could.
At the time this story won the Wattys in Romance, it had 66K reads.
Now (23 July 2022), it's reached 1.1 Million+ reads and my gob is smacked!
To all who read it when it was struggling for reads, and to those who have left me comments and thoughts, giving me pointers on how to improve it, or giving me kudos -- THANK YOU!
Thank you for loving my awkward hero, Chad Gilligan (named after the goofy Gilligan in Gilligan's Island!) as much as you did. I still dream that one day I'll see this book in print, but for now, I hope you'll enjoy e-reading it.

As an author who writes everything in my free time, struggling to carve out time in my days to do this thing I love, it's wild to see the love you have poured for this book. [Photo: Actual notebooks used over the years to bring 'for June' to a finish. I write longhand! Yup bloody old-school, but I love it! Maybe one day, they'll have some value, for now, they are fond memories of a story that saved me from my own writer's block and made me fall in love with writing again.]
