Groggily, I sat up, allowing my eyes to open, and my hand to reach out for the glasses that were usually on my nightstand.
Then I realized, nothing was blurry.
Nothing.
I could see.
And then I screamed like a little girl, wondering what in Merlin' s name happened to me.
Several pairs of footsteps were running down the hall towards my door, revealing some very worried relatives.
The worry soon turned into complete shock as they saw me, in full glory of something.
"I can fucking see!" I shout hysterically.
"That's not all that changed Harry," my aunt whispered under her breath, a light tone of awe edging her voice.
"Ok? So apparently I went through my creature inheritance last night, right at midnight when I fell to the floor in pain! All while being visited by probably one of the most feared beings by muggle or magical world!" I exclaim shrilly.
"Yes, and what being, may I ask Harry?" my cousin Dudley said.
"Someone claiming that I was his heir, and a whole lot of other people's as well. Which I HIGHLY doubt."
My cousin shook his head, knowing I was avoiding exactly just who it was that visited me last night.
"Anyways, based on the fact that you can't keep your mouths closed, I am something ridiculously stupid looking, or I've baffled your brains," I say, making an attempt to shuffle them out of their stupor.
Petunia and Vernon realized they were still staring, and quickly collected themselves, before my uncle spoke, "Well, I do believe that you should head to Gringotts as soon as possible. I would also wait until you are at Gringotts before looking at yourself, that way you won't spend much time mulling over your new form and distracting yourself from what you need to do."
All I could do was numbly nod my head in response, my mind reeling over the first several of my waking moments of today.
I was now 16. I was some sort of weird, not normal wizard now. And I probably will make people just give me all sorts of weird looks today.
It was not going to be a pleasant day today. At all.
I shooed my relatives out of my room so I could get ready to go to Gringotts about this.... thing I am now.
I also have many questions to ask Ragnok about calling me the heir of Hogwarts. That was just a foolish prospect.
Shaking my head to clear any ludicrous ideas that might pop in as a result of overthinking of Ragnok's latest words to me, or what the bloody hell I am now, thanks to my creature inheritance.
Suddenly I gave a loud laugh. Thinking of how Hermione would react at my most recent turn of events. Probably give me several books and a several hour long lecture on the topic. Hermione definitely made life a lesson.
Quickly finishing my morning routine, I headed downstairs to grab a bite to eat before going to Diagon Alley.
In my hurry to get downstairs, I tripped on one of the steps, and sent myself falling down, but what I least expected, was to simply slide down the stairs.
I reached the bottom, and turned around to see the stairs turned into a ramp, leaving me dumbfounded.
I quickly glanced around the hall, none of my relatives were there. Then again, none of them really knew how to cast magic, and didn't have wands.
