INT. CAR - DAY
BLISS
Are you sure you want this to be your first mission? It'll be intense.
Ember nods with determination.
EMBER
I want to pull my weight.
Bliss nods and the two pull up to a large, seemingly abandoned building near the Forest.
GUNSHOTS are going off inside. The girls both rush inside, running in random directions.
INT. ABANDONED BUILDING - AFTERNOON
GUNSHOTS are blasting.
Blithe is getting attacked.
Ember looks at her hands and shoots at the man attacking Blithe,but misses.
The attacker is startled and Blithe gets the upper hand, knocking the attacker to the ground. Discarded papers CRACKLE from the fire.
Blithe nods to Ember and runs off.
Ember shoots fireballs at enemies' guns and they burn. She shoots small fire sparks at people.
Icicles are seen being shot at the enemy. The ice makes a crash when it hits something.
Ember sees Camdyn Tyler phasing through bullets and power dampeners. He gets distracted by one.
CAM TYLER
What is this?
A MOOK raises his gun to shoot a bullet at Camdyn. Ember sees.
EMBER
Watch out!
Ember melts the bullet.
Tyler looks up and sees he's been saved.
CAM TYLER
(annoyed)
I didn't need you to do that.
EMBER
(annoyed)
You would've been shot.
CAM TYLER
(bragging)
I would've phased.
EMBER
You were distracted.
CAM TYLER
Whatever. Thanks anyway, "Sparky".
EMBER
Yeah, don't mess with those, they hurt.
Ember points at power dampeners.
CAM TYLER
What are these?
EMBER
I don't know, but I've experienced the pain. Wouldn't recommend it.
Apollo sees they are talking.
APOLLO
Hey! You can talk later, focus!
Ember melts the power dampeners thrown at the supers.
The teams keep fighting each other. Ember makes small fire sparks fall down like rain. The enemy runs away SCREAMING. The group of supers thanksEmber and they chant her name.
Blithe rolls her eyes in the background.
