Ten missed calls, twenty texts and a cold empty left side of the bed. That's what I Flo Adams woke up to this morning and let me tell you it wasn't pleasant.

I'm used to being at home. With him. In his perfectly spacious double bed and snuggled up into his tight warm embrace.

I stretched out my stiff muscles, I was then repaid with a few cracking noises coming from my back and elbows.

That's probably not supposed to happen.

I breathed in the familiar scent of bacon, clogging my nostrils with its perfect scent. Instantly pulling me out of my bed as I pretty much ran out into the kitchen, there stood a tanned muscular back and grey track pants.

I wanted to scream out a specific boy's name and run into his tall frame and muscular arms but that wasn't going to happen.

It wasn't the boy I wished it was. I could have sworn it was him but my mind played tricks on me.

My eyes landed on the main give away that it wasn't Ryder. Jays curly dirty blonde hair.

"Good morning sleepy head." He said while stacking a pile of bacon on a plate.

"Good morning." I laughed scratching my head.

"You woke up just in time." He smiled happily as he turned off the stove and put the plate of bacon on the table along with eggs and toast.

My eyes seemed to bulge out of my head at the amount of food he had cooked up, it was more then enough to feed two Ryder's and three Alex's.

"Oh um, I'm not used to cooking for other people." He awkwardly laughed as he looked down at the food on the table.

"No it's okay, we will have heaps of leftovers." I smiled and sat down on the opposite side of the table.

We both started to dig into our food. Well Jay did, I on the other hand just simply picked at the food on my plate, carefully cutting into the bacon and egg that laid perfectly on a piece of toast.

I couldn't help but think of how fast Ryder would munch down the pile of bacon in front of me. I couldn't help but think about how his eyes glistened with delight when he looked at it with some much love, almost like he looked at me.

'I don't even know why he even bothers with you.' Jades words rang through my head.

She's right.

"What's the matter?" Jay asked as he wiped his mouth with his hand.

"Oh nothing." I said averting my eyes away from him.

"Don't lie to me, I know you're not acting like your normal happy Flo self." He said with a frown.

"Jay its really nothing." I said finally looking up at him.

"That wasn't nothing yesterday." he said talking about yesterday at the café.

"I didn't feel like seeing him." I bluntly said playing with my food.

"It looked like a lot more than you not wanting to see him." he paused.

"Flo, he seemed so worried about you. Now I don't know him that well, not like you do, but anyone could tell he cares about you, more than words can describe." he says softly.

"That's where your wrong, he never will." I whispered just loud enough for him to hear.

He was confused by my words, he was quiet for a few seconds, trying to process what I had just said, trying to figure out what he should say or even ask and he was about to he opened his mouth to say something but he was cut off by his phone ringing.
