Space Station Unity Dawn

Max POV

When Mia return from her trip, I knew something was not right. Her google strap was ripped, her body armor has taken damage and have cracks on them, but the clearest evidence of them all was that she acted serious. Mia is never serious so something bad really happened. She told me what happen on the ground about being caught and fighting the same people who chase her when collecting the samples. I told Mia to get Nova and go to the bridge while I carry some solar panels and the translator I been working on.

When I arrived at the bridge, I set the solar panels and the translator on the desk while waiting for them to arrive. Not long after, both Mia and Nova enter the room...while...eating...food. I just look at them with dumbfound face. Nova then tosses me a bag and a drink. After out little snack break, we begin the meeting.

"Alright Max, I am here. What seems to be the problem?"

Before I give her the bad news, I got to tell her my progress.

"Well I finished the solar panels and the translator you requested. Had enough parts for the three of us."

I can see a sigh of happiness and a smile on her face. Sadly, I have to tell the bad news.

"The bad news the solar panels, I had to take apart from the others solar panels. So, I just have enough to solve out power problem if we make a few changes."

She seems unaffected by this news.

"So, what do we need to sacrifice to keep the power at normal levels? Turning off our lights, our heat, or something else?"

"Yes, yes, and maybe. Got to shut off the power in all areas of the ship beside my work station, the teleportation pad, and your lab. Another note is we have to turn off the heat in all area of the ship or lower the temperature, so we will need jackets. And we might have to sacrifice some air to install them outside or else they might not work."

I can see Nova is considering the options while Mia have her head down trying to be invisible.

"Very well, do what you must but do not take unnecessary risk."

With everything that I needed to say got spoken, I turn my head to Mia. She was looking down at first then turn her head towards Nova.

"Nova...I been spotted."

"I should have known this will happen, but I am glad you are safe Mia. Just be careful next time."

I just stood there speechless as I though Nova was going to kill her. Mia began to explain what happen when she was savaging in the city. Mia then had a bright Idea to use one of the monitors to get any broadcast if they have any. After a few minutes, we got signal of a broadcast of some sort. We all grab the translator and equip only the hearing piece to our ears. When a picture of a short white and pike squid and a tall black and green octoling follow by music, we all sat still and waited to see what happen.

"Y'All know what time it is!"

"It's OFF The Hook, coming at you LIVE from Inkopolis Square!"

"Yo Marina lets do our boys a favor they ask us."

"Oh, right. Everybody, apparently there is a dangerous person out there and the police ask us to spread awareness. Peral do you have the picture they send us?"

"You know it. BOOM."

Then a picture showed up at the screen. I knew it was a picture of Mia, but it was heavily blurred and zoomed in almost as if they are trying make it clear but failed. I can see green lights emitting from her night vision googles but other then that, its just a shadow.
