". . . . ."

[. . . . .]

The silence between the system and the host went on for a few minutes. But it was soon broken by Iris whose thoughts has slowly sunken in and finally realized that she have to complete Serenity's wishes if she want to atleast get close to earning another wish from the Creator.

A wish for a wish.

"What? Are you serious?!"

[Yes host. If you want to earn an extra wish, completing all of Serenity's last wishes will help you achieve it.]

Iris sighed, "Okay, then tell me what are her other wishes."

[Her first wish is to find a husband because she wanted to experience love. Next is to open up a clothing boutique. And her final wish is to spend more time with her sickly grandfather before he pass away.]

Iris thought that Serenity was a shallow person. One of her last wish was to find a husband? But after hearing what the system said, Iris couldn't help but scold herself for judging too quickly. Which girl didn't want to experience being loved?

Her second wish is all about to pursue her dreams which she wasn't able to do before due to her ruined reputation. As for her last wish, it was all too pitiful for Serenity. Due to her chasing the princes, she wasn't able to spend more time with her beloved grandfather who is becoming weaker by the day.

"Okay. I will do my best to fulfill her last wishes. But as for her first wish, there's a possibility that I may not be able to fulfill it."

[It's okay, host. The points needed to earn a wish are 1000 points. Completing the main mission is equivalent to 1000 points already. Each of Serenity's wishes add up to 50 points. Only completing two of her wishes is equal to 100 points, which is not shabby.]

Iris suddenly beamed with joy after hearing what the system said. But, if she only knew that the system is already planning on matchmaking her to men that has a potential to be her husband, Iris would have vomitted blood.

"Alright now that's sorted, just to make it clear, when will I be assigned as the Royal Tutor?"

[Tomorrow host. Actually, if i'm not mistaken, your grandfather should've already announce that he will retire due to his sickness.]

Wait, I just realized something.

"Just a minute, the previous Serenity was assigned just like that? Even without undergoing tests or some sort?"

[Yes, the title of Royal Tutor can be passed on to the next descendants if they are deemed worthy enough. Actually, if it weren't for your grandfather telling the king that you'll be replacing him, the king plan on searching for a new Royal Tutor through the Scholar's Exam that will be held tomorrow.]

"This is wrong. If I am planning on becoming the Royal Tutor, then I need to take the Scholar's Exam tomorrow and be able to pass as the top examinee. This will help eliminate doubts regarding my capabilities."

Iris has always been quite meticulous when planning. This simple slipup could've easily ruined her reputation and accused her grandfather of being biased.

"I'll visit grandfather later and tell him to change his decision."

After pondering for a moment, Iris decided to ask, "Can I purchase a teaching skill from your MT-Store?"

[Yes host but it is still locked because you currently don't have any points accumulated.]

Iris' previous good mood went down a bit due to what she heard. Actually, teaching wouldn't have been a problem to her if she was still in her teenage years because she used to tutor kids.

It's not that her family was lacking money, it's because Iris really love teaching. She would've become a teacher by now if it wasn't from the pressure and how she didn't want to disappoint her parents. Iris soon stopped tutoring kids after her parents became aware of what she was doing.

[What are you worried about host? Base from your stats, you've had past experiences of teaching.]

"Yes, I know, but the situation this time is different. I'm not going to teach kids about math and science, i'll be teaching princes how to rule a kingdom. I can't do that." Iris said as she vigorously shook her head.

[Then host should start reading books? Or even ask tips from your grandfather?]

Iris groaned, slumping over the open window. What the system suggested is actually a good idea. Get close to her grandfather while also learning from him is like killing two birds with one stone. Her only problem are the princes.

"System, give me information regarding about the princes, including the crown prince. Their personalities, likes and dislikes, eveything!"

[Yes host, working on it.]

"While you're at it, i'll visit grandfather first." Iris said as she stood up and went to her closet to pick an outfit.

Opening two doors that lead to an entire room filled to the brim with clothes, accesories, shoes and bags, Iris couldn't help but gape in awe. According to the previous owner's memories, atleast half of them are gifts from her grandfather and the other half are Serenity's works.

I mean, if you look at it closely, you'd notice how a portion of the clothes are either fluffy dresses, flowy skirts and beautiful tops whereas the other portion has warm, neutral colored pants, shorts, overalls and denims. Pieces of clothes a lady shouldn't wear but Serenity made it to look more feminine and elegant.

Iris didn't want to disappoint her grandfather so she chose a thin ivory colored turtle neck sweater from one of his gifts and a beige square pants. She tucked the sweater inside her pants and chose nude sandals and a black handbag to finish the look.

After making sure the house is properly locked, Iris finally went outside. She couldn't help but think that she might be dreaming because of how beautiful the neighborhood is.

Iris could see details that she missed from her bedroom window. Look look! The lamp posts have unique designs engraved on their bodies. Even the road she's walking on has beautiful art on it. This world is the definition of aesthetic. She really wish that she could take a picture of the place right now and post it on the internet.

Due to being utterly mesmerized of the place, Iris didn't notice that a lot of people was looking at her.

The previous Serenity rarely go outside, so not a lot of people knew what the granddaughter of the Royal Tutor looked like. They knew the house that she lived in because it was one of the most expensive house in the neighborhood. And the Royal Tutor literally bragged about it to the point that not a single soul in Aurora would not know.

Now that someone finally went out of the house, people immediately turn to look. It was not hard to miss due to the house having large double doors. And what the people saw really exceeded their expectations.

Her beauty could rival the most beautiful miss in Valhaven.

But what got the people really intrigued are her clothes. Women are supposed to wear dresses or skirts to showcase their feminine charms. Few are exempted of course due to their work but Serenity is from a noble family of scholars that had served under the king for so many years. There's no reason for her to wear this type of clothing.

But for some reason, it did not look bad on Serenity. It was as if she looked even more elegant, more professional that a few ladies couldn't help but want to try that type of design.

Sadly, Serenity isn't a mindreader and couldn't hear their pleas so she completely ignored the looks thrown at her and hailed a carriage.

It took a while for the people to regain their stupor even after Serenity has gotten into the carriage. Well, you couldn't blame their reaction. It is so rare to see Serenity out and about and to see her wearing clothing that went against certain principles was certainly a shocker.

"Where are you headed to, young miss?" The coachman politely asked the beautiful but weirdly dressed young lady.

Serenity smiled and replied, "Solasta."
