Chapter Twenty Three

"Just once, come on" Taylor whines as she stares at me in desperation

"No" I say giving her a deadpan look

Currently, we were sitting at the cafeteria where Taylor has been continuously asking me to go to the club with her and a few other people she met but I'm just not a club person

I don't like drinking all that much and to be honest, I'm not confident enough to dance around people. I just always end up feeling uncomfortable and anxious

She folds her arms against her chest as she pouts glaring at me, "You're no fun" she mutters 

"And you're such a damn child" I tease staring at her amusement

I swear all she is missing is a damn teether

She narrows her eyes on me as she dramatically huffs and flips her hair to the side walking away

"Where do you think you're going?" I ask her raising my right eyebrow slightly

"TO CLASS SO I CAN GET AWAY FROM YOUR NEGATIVITY", She screams as she continues to walk away

"Um..Taylor?" I call out 

"WHAT?!" She huffs turning around so that she can see me 

"Your class is the other way" I state smirking at her 

Her eyes widen a bit as her face goes red causing me to bite my lip to try to conceal the grin that wants to so badly appear

She angrily storms back to me muttering an "I knew that" as she continues to storm off in the right direction this time

"Sure you did" I tease

 "Partner up in 3, 2, 1"

In a blink of an eye, Mason is next to me grinning from ear to ear

"Hey darling," he says cheekily causing me to let out a small laugh

"Hey Mason" 

"Alright, class, you have twenty-one minutes to brainstorm a theme for your projects. Use your time wisely" Mr.Ripkey announces looking at us dully

I wonder if that man ever smiles

I turn my attention to Mason and see him taking out his notes and a pencil 

"Alright, I have a brilliant idea!" Mason exclaims looking at me like an excited little puppy

"Yeah? Hit me with it" I say chuckling slightly at his enthusiasm 

"Okay how about we do it on rollercoasters?! That way, we can also go to six flags!" He said his eyes wide as his grin widens anticipating my reaction

"Mason," I said slowly causing him to nod his head rapidly 

"That's such a great idea oh my goodness!" I exclaim smiling widely at him causing us both to laugh

"We can relate it to kinetic energy, potential energy, Newton's law,--"

"Yes," Mason grins cutting me off "all that mumbo jumbo u just mentioned! YES!" 

I laugh at him when all of a sudden my phone chirps and I see I got a message

Meet at the cafe after school
