➸ incandescent me

I haven't had one of those days when
I want to stand up from
my bed in a while.
My room looks like a safe zone.
I think if I step out I'm going to be triggered again.

I don't want to be triggered again. It's not a good feeling. When I'm triggered my body is an unannounced earthquake.
When I'm triggered my mind is one of those unvisited cemeteries.
So when I tell you "please understand' or "please give me some time."
Please listen to me.
Sometimes I just wouldn't meet your expectations.
Sometimes all I need is a big break from all the noise and the chaos.
Also please know that I do want to get better.
Please know that I am also hoping tomorrow would be the day I'll want to get up from my bed.
