Chapter Three

I don't even know what I'm doing with the pictures so imma just put random TodoDeku pics I have attached away. Anyway, ENJOY CHAPTER THREE!!!

Midoriya POV

English was really uneventful. Math has slightly more interesting, mainly because Midnight-Sensei was walking around and talking to the students and Mineta-Kun had to take care of a...guy problem... that was awkward.

Lunch was fun as always. I ate with Iida-Kun, Ururaka-Chan, Tsu-Chan and kind of Todoroki-Kun. I only say kind of because he didn't interact with us much. Though I did get the feeling he was staring at me when I wasn't looking. "So Deku-Kun," I hear Ururaka-Chan start from the other end of the table "Who do you think you'll pair up with. I'm totally pairing with Tsu-Chan here!" Ururaka -Chan puts her arm around Tsu-Chan, and I could've sworn I saw the frog girls face turn pink before she put it down

"I don't know...." I haven't really been worrying about it as much as I thought I would.

 Until now

'Aizawa-Sensei doesn't trust us to have boyxgirl pairs, so that eliminates all the girls in the class. It also can't be anyone I don't get along with, so that cuts out Kacchan and Mineta-Kun. Also some pairs are kind of obvious,like Sero-Kun and Kaminari-Kun. It should also be someone I know and and at least acquaintances with so it won't be awkward, so that eliminates Sato-Kun, Shoji-Kun, Kouda-Kun and Ojiro-Kun....so that only really leaves Aoyama-Chan, Iida-Kun, Kirishima-Kun, Tokoyami-Kun and Todoroki kun. There's also the fact that some of them may want to partner with someone else. Then there's the quirks to take into account: who will be most useful in the wilderness?'

I snapped back to reality when I felt someone poking my shoulder. I look over and see Todoroki-Kun at my side, with a slightly amused look on his face. "W-was I muttering again? I'm sorry" my face was burning and I assumed very red. I need to get that muttering thing under control

"How about you and me be partners, Midoriya-Kun? If you want to that is. It's just that you seemed so freaked out about it, and I was somewhat worried about it as well. What do you say?" I glanced at Ururaka-Chan who looked like she was trying to keep from giggling, Tsu-Chan still had her face down and Iida-Kun was eating his food, watching us like a movie.

"I-I'd Love to, Todoroki-Kun!" I blurt out. The bell rang. Oh jeez, we have to leave in about five minutes. What if I forgot something?

Or what if something bad happens?

We got to the classroom and Aizawa-Sensei was early again! is it because of the field trip? "Ok, we have three minutes before we have to load into the bus. Find your partners and don't loose them, you need to sit with them for the bus ride." He finished talking as Mic-Sensei came in. Everyone started to linger as Todoroki-Kun made his way over to me.

We walk over to the pile of backpacks and duffle bags to find our own somewhere in the pile. I bet he thinks I'm weird for having so much stuff. "So Todoroki-Kun," I thought I Should break the silence before it gets awkward. "Have you ever been camping?" Immediately I regret opening my mouth; he was abused as a child, so of corse his monster of a father and unhinged mother never took him on pleasant family camping trips! Good going, Izuku! I'm such an idiot!

"No, I haven't. I'm really looking forward to it, though. What about you? Have you ever been camping?" Oh. He doesn't seem to care. Good, bullet avoided. "My mom and I could never afford all the supplies and pay for the campground spot, so no." I felt so strange talking to him. I'm not sure why, I've never had a problem with it before! He just looks so.... "Well," he started, cutting off my thought "It shouldn't be too bad as long as I'm with you" he gives me a smile.

Oh my god oh my god, he's never smiled at me before. I bet I look like an idiot next to him. I want to curl up and go home! What's wrong with me? I feel like someone took a spoon and started mixing around my insides. Is that a bad thing? This never happened with Ururaka-Chan, but it did with a girl in Elementary school. Kacchan teased me for "having a crush on someone".

Is that what this is? A crush? But we're both boys! Don't get me wrong, I totally support anyone's sexual orientation, but I just always thought I was straight! I've never had anything like this! Oh god I'm so confused! Am I gay or straight! I could feel myself slip into a panic I've never had to think about this kind of thing. It's scary...

"Hey" a voice says from behind "are you ok, Midoriya-Kun?"I turn to see Hakagure-San and Aishido-San with a concerned look on their face. Well, Aishido-Chan's face looked concerned, I'm not sure about Hakagure-San. "You look really bad. Is something worng?" Aishido-Chan was the one speaking. I glance to my side to see Todoroki-Kun looking at us with his face expressionless as always. "O-oh yeah. I'm ok, I'm just...uhhh" oh jeez, I can't think of anything to say. Well say something Dim-Wit! "I'm just...Thinking about...s-something..." Aishido-Chan looked at Hakagure-San, then back to me "Ok, but if something bad happened and you wanna talk about it, Mina-San and I are always open!" Hakagure-San was the one to talk this time.

"Alrighty Class! Everyone line up by the door!" Mic-Sensei said enthusiastically. Everyone made sure they had their things and started lining up with their partners. Aizawa Sensei leaned against Mic-Sensei for support. Is he that tired, or is something else wrong? Does he feel sick? I hope not...

We made our way to the bus it was blue and white, and had the words "U.A. High School Transportation" on the side in big bold letters. "Everyone sits with their partners. Get comfortable, because we have a long drive ahead of us." Aizawa-Sensei spoke. He was already getting his sleeping bag out. Wow.

One by one, we all made our way inside the bus. I suddenly felt slightly drowsy, must've been my weird sleep things fault. Todoroki found an empty spot in the back of the bus and we sat there, putting out bags on the rack thing above us.

I already feel so tired and we haven't even left campus. Oh well, Aizawa-Sensei said we had a long drive, I'll just sleep on the way. Hopefully Todoroki-Kun doesn't mind.
