After Madam President began planning the Masquerade Party that Lucia had requested,Lucia herself took the chance to quietly make her way upstairs to the roof. She just needed somewhere quiet to think. So many things had happened to her recently and she needed to process it all. Lucia sighed to herself as she leaned forward against the cold metal railing as she stared towards the Japan that lay before her. On one side was a prosperous city built by the hands and tax money of the hardworking, and unappreciated Japanese people. While on the otherside lay old damaged buildings. Some of the buildings were so damaged it seemed that they could crumble to pieces if you even touched it. The so called roads were covered completely by concrete and debree. It was sad how this once beautiful nation was now so segregated. It was a sad thing to think about.

Lucia sighed as she tore her gaze from the sad sight as she quietly thought to herself. For 8 years she had been fed lies that her dear friends Lelouch and Nunally had died during the war but now after all these years they had been reunited. Not only that but today the two of them had kissed. Which Lucia enjoyed very much. But she knew it was wrong after all she was technically a married woman yet she kissed another man. So many thoughts and emotions were swirling inside Lucia's head it started to become a bit overwhelming. I mean it wasn't like Lucia loved Schneizel, in fact she pretty much hated his very existence. It was a cruel thing yes but it was how Lucia felt. She was royalty yet she was chained to a man she would never love. In her mind and in Britannia she was his prisoner.

The White Prince was anything but an angel. He had angelic looks and appeared to be a nice person yes but when Lucia challenged him or got under his skin he revealed his true colors. It seemed to please him when Lucia is scared or in distress and she didn't like it.  Lucia shivered at the thought of her so called husband to be and deep inside prayed that in fact her fate could be changed. That was when Lelouch's word came into mind once more "Then I will change your cursed fate!" He said it with so much courage and power behind it Lucia actually felt she had a little bit of hope left. For years she had prayed for a miracle. For another way for her to free her people without being a sacrifice but to no avail. But now, maybe just maybe she could hope again. Lucia was soon snapped out of her thoughts as she heard her name being called by Shirley. She smiled as she made her way back to the Student Council Room where Milly looked triumphantly at the drawn our details of the party. Scribbled on the paper were party decorations, special effects and even the kind of food that was allowed. It seemed that when it came to parties Milly went all out.

"Wow that's a lot of work to do in one day Milly." Lucia commented as Milly smiled as she rolled her sleeves up"Nothing The Student Council can't handle! Alright guys! Start working!"She shouted as Rivalz, Shirley and even Nina a bit cheered as they began decorating the clubhouse. While Lelouch continued to stare towards Lucia which was kinda making her uncomfortable. So much she actually had to say something about it."Please stop staring so much Lelouch, its unnerving. "She commented as Lelouch looked away from her as he cleared his throat. " Sorry."He said quietly as he began to walk pass Lucia before whispering"I still meant what I said,I will change your fate."He said causing Lucia's eyes to widen in shock as she couldn't help but to smile warmly. "Then...I'll be waiting for you. To save me, Lelouch." She answered quietly as Lelouch smiled to himself before he went to help the others decorate.

With a new light of hope in her heart Lucia left to the palace in the Homeland where she was greeted by Euphemia as soon as she stepped inside the vast palace. "Lucy! I'm so happy your back!" She greeted with a smile as Lucia couldn't help but to hug the hyper Princess back. "Me too Euphie, bored?" She asked as Euphemia held her breathe making her cheeks puffy causing Lucia to release a light chuckle. "I'll take that as a yes, come on. Let's head to my room. I need to pick out a dress." She informed her friend as Euphemia gasped for air as she breathed "A-A dress for w-what?" She asked between gasps as Lucia smiled"Were having a Masquerade at school tomorrow. I want to look my best."She answered as Euphemia's eyes seemed to glisten with excitement as she clasped her hands together. "OOOOH!! This is so exciting! Come on,come on! We have to find you the perfect dress!" She squealer as Lucia chuckled as she was ushered up the steps to her room.

The two girls hurriedly scurried upstairs into Lucia's room. Closing the door behind them while sat on her bed watching as Euphemia pulled out dress after dress after dress asking for her opinion. It was funny seeing how excited Euphemia was over something as simple as a party. But then again Euphemia had always been a hat kind of person. She always wanted others to be happy around her not just herself. That was Euphemia's natural charm. Lucia smiled as the two of them conversed about her dress, make up,and even her hair style. Lucia had already decided she would dye her hair for this occasion.

After all the point of a masquerade was not to know who everyone was. But to have pure fun without a care in the world. And tomorrow night she wanted to blend in like any normal girl at the dance. She wanted to have fun and dance. Maybe even dance with Lelouch. The thought of their bodies pressed against each others once more was enough to turn Lucia's fave bright red which she hoped Euphie didn't notice. "Are you going to dance with anyone?" Euphie asked as she grabbed a pair of heels for Lucia. "Well,I hope." She answered truthfully as Euphemia took a seat beside her whispering"Just have fun, that's all that matters. Brother will not be there. Cut loose a bit."She said as Lucia smiled towards Euphemia and nodded.

She was right,it was time to let go of the "Cold Hearted Princess" mask and reveal her true self to the world. And maybe even have alite fun along the way.
