~18~ The First Snow

You sat in class, you knew you had to tell Cat, but how to find him as Peacock? Fortunately for you two first years got in a fight, and the loser came out as a villain. You quickly rose from your seat, hid in the bathroom, transformed, and ran back out.

"Hey, don't you know that destroying Paris isn't the healthy way to express your emotions?" You stated to the villain. Soon Cat showed up. "Took you long enough, lets take care of this quick, we have talking to do."

"Did you find Hawkmoth?" He looked shocked and excited. 

"We'll talk about it, watch your left." You warned Cat, hoping he'd get his head into the battle. "Do you think we should just take the easy way out?"

"Yes, I'm eager to hear what you have to say." You nod and run close to the enemy.

"Perplex! Break every accessory Cat!" You smirked, watching as Cat destroyed everything he could get his hands on. Eventually he broke the hat, setting the butterfly free, and you quickly took care of it.

"We'll be seeing you soon, Mr. Agreste." You smirked at the butterfly as you destroyed it.

"Mr. Agreste?" Cat spoke up.

"I'll explain everything, after I take care of this." You point to your blinking, ringing miraculous. You quickly entered the bathroom, detransformed, and retransformed, then returned to Cat Noir.

"What did you mean by Mr. Agreste?"

"Let's go somewhere more private." You lead Cat to the janitor closet that he usually shut you up in.

"Okay, will you finally tell me what's going on?"

"Get this, Hawkmoth is a student! and he goes to this school. It all makes sense, most of the attacks are from students at this school, he must see what goes on here."

"And you think that student is..."

"Adrien Agreste. He always disappears during the battles, and returns long after they're done, because he's been busy possessing people."

"This is an outlandish theory. Where's your proof?" Cat Noir seemed unconvinced.

"I followed those butterflies after battles, they lead me to this big house. I sat outside that house for hours just watching, and found he lives there."

"You were stalking a student?"

"Not stalking, finding a killer. Look," You pulled up his Instagram and showed Cat his shoes. "His shoes have Akuma's on them!"

"It could just be a style choice."

"Or he's Hawkmoth. I want to go to his house and take him off guard."

"This is too much Peacock, I'm out." Cat Noir started getting up.

"Wait, don't you want to catch Hawkmoth?"

"Not like this." Cat Noir left, so you became a normal girl, and returned to class.

"We'll be seeing you soon Mr. Agreste." Hawkmoth heard peacocks voice, and saw her smirk through the Akuma. 

"I can't believe this." He nervously walked around his observatory. "First this girl steals the Peacock miraculous from under my nose, and now she has the audacity to call me out, I need to take away her power, and quick. I think this should work."

You sulked back to class, not in the mood to do anything. "Hey, (Y/N)!" You rolled your eyes as your heard Adrien's voice.

"Not now Adrien." You sat down at your desk, sighing. You were frustrated that Cat Noir was pulling out of your plan, you thought he cared about your relationship.

"Are you okay? You've been hostile since I saw you at that cafe." He sat down next to you in Alya's spot.

"I've just been stressed okay?" You bury your head into your elbows, and the emotions take over. You start quietly crying.

"(Y/N)? Oh no, come on, let's go talk about what's going on." Before you can protest Adrien leads you out of class and back into the janitor closet. "Why are you crying?"

"I'm scared Adrien, I can feel Cat Noir drifting away from me. He won't admit it, but I know that he's going to leave soon." You wipe your eyes.

"Why do you think that?" Adrien asked.

"I can just tell, what did I expect getting close to someone whose name I don't even know. I'm an idiot." You start to stand but Adrien grabs your wrist.

"(Y/N) I can tell just by the way he looks at you that he loves you so much." You smile at him as you both exit the closet.

"Woah, check it out." You excitedly say as you notice snow starting to fall around you. "It's about time it snowed."

"wow." Adrien and you were both in awe. It was the beginning of December and only now did it decide to snow. "We should head back to class."

Just as he said that you both heard a scream. Then a woman in white slammed through the front doors.

"I'll be in the bathroom if you need me." You run to the bathroom and transform. Two villains in one day, Hawkmoth was on edge.
