All My Days

A shadow of a person, and all the things I may be.
I wish to sleep in the dust of the earth.
Let my consciousness manifest deeper into me subconsciousness,
and my subconsciousness pitch black and empty and burned out.
Gather, poured out among you the lack of my existence.
I am siting her, but a heart beat, my chair empty?

Breathe slow and bodies untension, seems like feather and flowers to me.
My eyes! They dwell midst strain and suffering.
let me rest them.
Let them close... for a second, then another... and then another.
Let me sleep in myself.
Let my brain, my mind-breathe.
Thoughts unscatter to no thoughts at all.
I hear you, all of you, until the voices disappear.
Let them go with the light, let the darkness come in to heal my beating eyes.

In a chair..., under a willow... let me disappear.
Don't you dare wake me,
Speak my name, only to touch.
Don't you dare wake me.
Don't you dare take me back to this reality, to the light.
Let me be.
