the small boy couldn't bear it as he sat on their bedroom floor, completely crying his eyes out.
all he wanted was to surprised the other with some sweets.
an hour ago.
jaehyun has just gotten home from work, clearly stressed over the face that 'fans' were still trying to get their hands on taeyong for dating him.
the memories it brought back didn't feel nice to him.
it didn't help either when said boy came, excitedly calling out his name while carrying chocolates.
"look jae! i got us some good chocolates!"
jaehyun held his head, not being able to take the massive migraine that had taken over his head.
"tae, not now please,"
the boy tilted his head, clearly confused at the others words.
"why not now? you love chocola-"
"taeyong, i said not now,"
jaehyun accidentally roared, looking towards at taeyong.
at the sight of fear in the smaller's eyes, jaehyun couldn't help but completely storm away and leave the apartment, leaving a confused and sadden boy behind.
and now, we're here.
taeyong crying his eyes out and ignoring all the calls and texts of anyone, with jaehyun no where to be found.
he slowly got out of the floor, crawling over to the bed as he hid underneath the blanket.
just as he successfully got into said bed, his eyes became droopy of crying, falling asleep not long after that.
on the other hand, jaehyun had never truly made it far.
he had been sitting outside their house door for hours now, constantly banging his head on the door.
he couldn't help but call himself out. thoughts about how he shouldn't have lashed out on the sensitive boy like that no matter what.
but he couldn't help it. the fear in his eyes looked so much like when he was taken. he couldn't bear the other looking at him the way he looked at taemin.
he sighed, leaning his head back as a few tears dropped out of his eyes. he ran a hand through his hair, looking at his watch to check the time.
unsurprisingly, he had been beating himself up for the past four hours. he sighed once more, getting up and opening the door.
the looked everywhere for the boy he would give his life for, going towards their shared room in hopes of finding him.
the noticed the small lump in their bed, walking up to it and eventually sitting down next to him. he couldn't see his face, only his back as he hesitantly reach to brush the others messy mop of hair.
"i'm so sorry yong,"
he mumbled, getting up to go sleep somewhere else.
he felt a small grasp on his shirt though, turning back to see a tear stained face.
"sleep here, explain tomorrow,"
taeyong sleepily mumbled, opening his arms for the other to get in and cuddle him.
jaehyun hesitated for a moment, before completely melting into the others arms.
maybe they'll be okay even after this fight.
maybe they'll always be okay.
because maybe they will always have each.
and maybe that's all they always needed.
fin.

the ending was kinda rushed but were straight into exam season and i thought i would be better to not leave this hanging!
this book had honestly been a major success and i can't stop saying how grateful i am for you guys. really.
