After my little outburst from a "hurt" ankle, Ed set me down on the couch downstairs and went back to the guest room where he and Al spent the night at and retrieved a piece of paper that had writing on it that I guessed was the speech.
"Ready (y/n)?" Edward had asked me, I look at him and give a little fake smile "Yeah, I'm ready.." I respond quietly. "Alright then, since we are all ready I guess we should go ahead and go down there" he said as Al came downstairs "Did you forget someone?" Alphonse had asked clearly pointing out that Ed has excluded him "I certainly didn't forget about you Al!" I get up and quickly walk over to him and whisper in his ear "But your brother forgot" "Hey!" Shouted Ed, "You little faker! You didn't hurt your ankle you lied to me" he gives me a fake crying face and whines "you lied to meee" "And you forgot about me" says Alphonse in an upset tone "....meany" he adds quietly
"Okay, okay. Come on guys we should go ahead and get going before the service tries to start without us" I say loud enough so the bickering brothers could hear me. "Yeah, what (y/n) said lets get going" Ed opens the door for me and Alphonse and closes it behind us as we walk towards the graveyard.
*time skip brought to you by burritos, they are freakin delicious*
We finally reach the graveyard and see the same mysterious man that showed up at the Elric's house that night and gave us the letter notifying us of my sister's death. The dark greenish haired man comes up to us as he sees us and adjusts his glasses and holds out a hand and he speaks
" Lieutenant colonel Maes Hughes, I have been sent to help solve what had happened to your sister. I am terribly sorry for your loss ma'am" I take his hand as he shakes it and I say softly "(y/n) (l/n), thank you sir for helping me...it just alot to take in right now, but thank you for helping mehandle this situation after having it happen two times before I thought I would've been used to it by now but I suppose I wasn't." I giggle nervously after I say the last part.
"Such a young lady like you shouldn't have to go through things like this at your age, so no need to thank me. I'm just doing my job ma'am". Of course, he isn't doing it because he wants to, it's his job to do so...so does that mean that he really even cares?? Oh well, at least someone is trying to help me get through with this and stay strong
"Your sister was so nice...she didn't deserve it" whispers ed as he kneels beside her grave placing down the flowers crown that him and her made the day before she passed. "She wasn't nice Ed...after mom died and dad she hasn't been nice or anything, she has been the opposite she would put a fake face on infront of others to give of that sweet act but in reality when no ones around she is cruel and harsh...these bruises don't happen outta nowhere Ed" I say as I walk towards him "sure she was my sister, I loved her even if she didn't love m-" I didn't get to finish as Ed cut me off "of course she loved you, those where her parents to that had died she just would react a different way then you because you to are different she was confused, scared, and lonely trying to raise her little sister without a guardian for guidance.." I sat there speechless trying to find words to say but we just sat there in silence until ed stood up and pull out the piece of paper from earlier.

"(S/n) was a such a wonderful friend, sister, and daughter. She fought through the tough times trying to keep her sister safe without her mother or father around to help her, she had no one. She stood strong through the tough times they had and supported the both of them by going off and finding all sorts of jobs she could do to support the two of them. She was brave, she didn't let the fact that she had to raise her little sister because of what bad happened get in her way she stood headstrong and kept fighting till the end. She left us way to early, she still had much to do. She wanted to become a nurse and help others that were in desperate need, she wanted her own family to raise when she got older. Sure, (s/n) might have left but it doesn't mean our memories of her did...(S/n) (l/n) will not ever be forgotten..." I said while lowering my head not being able to finish the rest, sure (S/n) wasn't related to me or anything but she was still such a lovely person the be around and she always tried to cheer you up when you were upset, she went to early but I guess it was her time.
I look up and see Alphonse crying and laying a bundle of flowers on the grave and I see the Lieutenant with his head lowered and his back turned away but I look over at (y/n) and she her trying to bottle up her emotions but you can see all of them on her face that she is expressing. She looks like she is about to burst any second crying an angry river of tears the wind blows her (h/l) (h/c) in front of her face so I can't see it anymore but then she looks at me with her once bright (e/c) orbs now dull ones like the light inside of her has been sucked out and replaced with something dark.

I feel hot tears of anger roll down my cheeks and leave a little trail behind them as they roll down to my chin and drip down onto the ground slowly and then the wind blows my hair covering my face from everyone seeing thankfully. I slowly look over at Ed and see his golden eyes staring at me with a sad expression as he comes over and hugs me tight and whispers
"Everything is going to be okay".
Holy crap, I'm so sorry my little cubs. I definitely haven't updated in what seems to be forever and I am so sorry for that (and these short and crappy chapters) I've kinda had writers block and not only that but it's the end of the year so I'm taking all of my EOC's and getting ready to go to the next grade (yay!) I'll try and update more often so they will be slow updates. Love ya little bear cubs and thanks for putting up with all my crap 😂😭
Love ya~
