Y/n's pov.

I grab the papers from the printer and walk back into my office, sitting down on my desk.

Another day has pass and I still am depressed about the Murakami's. I sit down on my desk and shut down my laptop, putting the stack of papers on the side, I grab my pen in my bag along with my phone.

I start to fill in the reports I was given and the first page was about Sasuke's death. The picture of his dead body stick to the paper makes me sick to even think about how they even have the guts to take a picture of his corpse.

I flip another page and there's Kaneki. Flipping more pages and all their profiles are there, identity, everything about their personal information, even the time of death. There's even a record on how they died. I flip another page and there's the empty blanks I have to fill in.

I start filling in the blanks.

I felt my tears started to gather in my eyes again as I fill in the empty blanks, I slam down my pen on my table, getting attention from the others as I lean back on my chair palming my eyes. It's not long enough I burst out crying.

" hey " I hear a knock on the door, I shook my head.

" no, no, get out " my voice cracked when I said the word 'out', I hear him sigh and by the voice tone, it's Garroth.

I feel his arms wrapped around me, I palm my face with my hands and cry as I feel him caressing my back.

" how can we let this happen? " I asked in between my cries.

" we can't undo it, what's done is done," he said.

He pulls apart and I wipe my tears.

" you'll have to go through with it, fight it, Mariko would've wanted you to be strong even if she's gone, " he said.

" they would've survive if we didn't even go to that stupid mission " I cry.

" it's not your fault " he said.

" just leave me alone, " I said and he sighs getting up and exits my office.

~ Time Skip ~

It's 12:00 pm and it's lunch break, I've calmed down, I still have a lot papers left and I don't think I'll finish it today, I should finish it if I bring it back at the apartment.

I was filling up the form when a container of fresh cut fruit was placed on my desk.

" eat something " I look up to see Ash who's sitting down on the chair in front of me.

" I'm not hungry " I said and put the sheet of paper I just finished with the rest of papers I have completed.

" you know I can't just give up " he said and took a bite on his chocolate donuts.

I slam my pen down and grab the plastic fork as I open the container, I stab the fresh slice apple, stuffing it in my mouth, chewing for a few seconds and spit at his face.

" I'm full thank you very much " I said and stab the fork on the fruit, picking up my pen again continuing to fill up the reports.

" your welcome " he wipes the apple mush of his face.

" 'your welcome' " I said in an accent.

" I don't talk like that " he said.

" yeah, sure you don't " I sarcastically said.

" Victor told me to make sure you don't miss your daily meal " he said.

" I'll eat later, I still have a lot of work okay " I said.
