Chapter 6: Change

A few days passed and Starfire still remained in that chair. Of course she went in Robins room when he was awake but whenever he slept she would take her place next to his door.
"Star" Cyborg approached her.
"Yes?" She smiled weakly back at him.
"You need rest. You hardly eat, speak, or sleep. We are all worried about you." Cyborg said. He was right. She looked sickly pale.
"But what if robin requires assistance." She said softly.
"Then we will assist Star. But he will be fine if you leave just for a minute." Cyborg stated.
He then handed her a tablet with the camera feed of Robins Med-Bay room. "Here, this way you can still keep an eye of him from other parts of the tower."
"Oh thank you friend Cyborg!"She exclaimed.
He knew how much this meant to her. It was his little sister after all. She told him everything, from how she felt about Robin to life before the Titans with the gordainians and how her parents died. She knew she could always trust him & he could always trust her. They turned around and made their way up to common room together.
Raven was meditating in the corner and BeastBoy was watching the monitor for any crime.
Cyborg turned to Starfire, "He's really stepped up and matured for the team since Robins been out." He motioned to BeastBoy.
"I have to Cy, we all have too. Robins our leader." BeastBoy said.
Cyborg stood quietly not realizing he had overhead the comment.
BeastBoy turned around.
"Star How ya feeling ?" He smiled
"I am the okay."she glanced at the tablet in her hands making sure robin was still okay. He was sleeping for the moment.
Raven opened one eye and glanced over at Starfire. She examined her, she was pale. Dark circles clung to her eyes and she looked weak just standing there. Raven put both feet on the ground and walked over to Starfire. She gently grabbed Starfires arm. "Let's get you something to eat." She smiled lightly, trying to brighten up the mood. Starfire nodded and followed Raven to the kitchen. She sat down as Raven heated up two slices of cheese pizza for her. When they were done Raven brought them to her with a bottle of mustard. Starfire smiled up at her.
"Thank you Raven."
"Anytime." Raven replied.
Just as Starfire began eating she heard a commotion from the camera on the tablet.
"Moons of Drenfaxs four!" She screamed. The other titans huddled around the tablet.
"Oh joy" Raven said
Cyborg and BeastBoy turned to look at Starfire who was turning red with anger.

"HELLO ROBBIE POO!"

Robin jolted awake. "Kitten!" He screamed. "How did you get in here?"
"You left the window open for me silly." She smiled. " I had to come check on my boyfriend!"
Robin flinched at that word. He only wanted to be one girls boyfriend and this was not that girl.
"Now come here and give me a kiss." She held her hands together and started moving in towards Robin. He tried to squirm away but he was trapped between the wires.
"Oh Robbie— AHHH." Kitten screamed as a green blast threw her out the window.
Robin turned to see Starfire standing in his door way with glowing green eyes. Smoke was coming from her extended arm as she lit up another Starbolt. "He is not your BOYFRIEND." She screamed as she flew out the window so save Kitten from her impending doom. The other titans rushed to the window and looked down. They watched as she flew done and grabbed kitten before she hit the rocky waves below.
"Put me down you alien!" Kitten screamed as they neared the ground below.
"As you wish." Starfire said. She held out her arms and dropped Kitten in the ocean.
"He could never love you, you're a monster! You're an alien. You don't even know anything about earth." Kitten screamed. "You'd just confuse him and scare him away with your weird traditions."
By this time Robin was out of bed watching out the window with the rest of the titans. They had all heard what Kitten said.
A part of Starfire was telling her Kitten was wrong, but another part was telling her she was right.
"Oh sweetie, don't be sad. I'll make sure you get an invite to me and Robins wedding." Kitten smirked.
Starfire looked up at her friends and back down. She didn't know what to feel. Robin never expressed his feelings towards her. Was this why? Was she too strange for him ? She looked at the city across the sea and darted towards it. A flash of green following behind her.
"Starfire wait!" Robin screamed out the window , but it was too late. She was gone. She was another bright light among the cities skyline. "Raven..." Robin growled through his teeth "take care of Kitten."
"My pleasure." Raven smirked.
Robin turned around and began to walk out of the door.
"And just where are you going ?" Cyborg said
"I need to find Starfire."he replied
"Dude you need to rest." Beast boy replied
"I will rest after we find her." Robin growled.
Cyborg and BeastBoy knew there was no way to stop him so they nodded their heads in agreement. As Robin walked to his room to change he had a deep feeling something was about to happen out in the city.
