"Do you have any plans after dismissal?" Yeonjun asked.

"As usual, I don't." I replied.

"Let's meet at the restaurant near our street later."

"Okay, but why?"

"My mom wants to treat you on a dinner." He said.

"She's working abroad, right? Did she arrive here already?" I asked.

"She'll be arriving later. I'll pick her up at the airport."

It'll be my first time meeting Yeonjun's mom and somehow, I felt nervous. I don't know what she's like.

"Can I... also join you later?" Beomgyu suddenly spoke.

"Oh, sure." Yeonjun agreed.

🌰

The three of us arrived at the restaurant. We waited for Yeonjun's mother because she had a talk with the owner.

Beomgyu and I stood up when she already appeared.

"Hi, Mrs. Choi! I'm Yeonjun's friend, Beomgyu." He said, smiling widely.

"I'm also a friend of Yeonjun. My name is Nami." I said.

"Don't be so formal." She said. "Just call me auntie."

"Okay, auntie," Beomgyu and I said in unison.

Before anything alse, we ordered food first. And then, we started talking again.

"Actually, it's my first time meeting Yeonjun's friends in high school. It's nice to meet you both." She smiled.

"It's nice to meet you, too, auntie!" Beomgyu said enthusiastically. It didn't seem like it's their first meeting.

"Aww, you're so adorable!" She said, flashing a smile. She then looked at me and it made me nervous. "So, you're Nami. Yeonjun always mentions you."

"Ah, really?" I turned to look at Yeonjun.

"How can I not? She's my closest friend." He stated.

"By the way, while waiting for our food, is there something you want to share that happened lately?" She asked. "I mean, you're already eighteen. Don't you have interesting stories like going into a relationship and such?"

"Hmm, I don't." I admitted. My life is actually boring.

"I can't think of any." Beomgyu said.

"Really? I had my first kiss when I was eighteen!" She said.

Damn, that made me choke on my water.

"Sweetie, are you okay?" She asked out of concern.

"I'm okay,"

I looked at Beomgyu and he didn't get surprised at all.

How can he easily... forget it?

Just then, the food already arrived. Thank goodness.
