"Is that what you're wearing tonight?" Nikki collapsed to my side and pointed at the sheer dress hanging on my wardrobe.

"Yeah, it's cool right?" I panted, trying to regain my breath from our prior activities.

"You're gonna look so hot" Nikki nuzzled into my neck, god I love this man.

"I just can't believe the albums finally finished, I never thought the day would come" I smiled to myself.

"I'm so proud of you, I love you" he sat up abruptly and began kissing all over my face, I giggled mercilessly and cuddled into him.

"I love you too"

The venue was packed, it looked like Doc had succeeded in getting every popular band at the moment here.

I'd said my hello's to the likes of Iron Maiden, Guns N Roses, Ratt, Metallica and so many more. I actually felt like a little girl meeting their idols for the first time.

I hadn't seen Nikki since we entered together but I wasn't too worried, he had probably caught up with his guys. Speaking of which, I should probably find my band.

They were all huddled by the bar when I sheepishly walked up to them, they met my awkward stare and went silent.

This totally wasn't awkward.

"Hey guys" I said quietly.

"Hey Lynn" Randy gave me a nod.

I sighed, "Look can we just forget about this whole Nikki business and focus on the album, I don't wanna give the press the chance to say we've broke up before the album releases" I chuckled slightly, as did the guys, they pulled me in for a hug.

"Of course Lynn" Lee smiled warmly at me.

Thank god that was sorted. I hate arguing with these boys, they were like my brothers.

I walked away from the guys but not before grabbing a celebratory bottle of vodka, only the finest now you see.

I glugged on it and caught sight of Tommy and Vince, "Hey fuckers"

Their expressions seemed on edge for a moment but they gave me smiles regardless.

"Hey Lynn, come here" Tommy pulled me in for a hug, "Were so proud of you"

"Thank you guys, have you seen your bassist?" as soon as I mentioned Nikki, their faces seemed to drop.
"What?"

"Nothing" Vince shrugged, I decided to press further.

"Seriously what's up?" my voice was stern.

"He's not here, said something about meeting a guy with with some brown" Tommy said sadly.

My face instantly dropped, Nikki had promised me he would be here for me, and he just ditched me for some heroin?

Was I really less important than a substance?

I ran away from the guys, avoiding all their calling and headed straight for the bar, I started downing shots after shots of god knows what terrible alcohol.

My mind was fuzzy and I was in desperate need of some coke. I had cut back on it but the news of Nikki's disappearance left me bitter and agitated.

I ran over to the one person I knew would have some stuff — Izzy Stradlin, ex-dealer turned rhythm guitarist of Guns N Roses.

Thankfully he didn't seem to weirded out by me stumbling up to him begging for coke and just handed it to me nonchalantly.

I proceeded to line the powder and take as much as my body could handle. My mind was bubbling and I felt really strange. Coke never had this effect on me but it wasn't the worst thing in the world.

I tried to stand up and head for Izzy for some more. But my legs failed me. I ended up stumbling around the venue, earning glares and giggles from everyone in the room.

I was making such a specimen of myself but I didn't care. I started spinning around, hot tears filling my eyes.

"NIKKI" I screamed at the top of my lungs, hoping he'd come to my rescue.

I scanned the room to see nothing but worried faces looking at me.

Next thing I knew, I was out cold on the floor.
