A phone with a news article displayed on the screen was placed in front of George, prompting him to quirk an eyebrow after reading the headline.

BTS MEMBER LEE GEORGE DEFENDS FAN AFTER BACKLASH??

He had defended many fans, so he wasn't too sure what they were referring to or why it was so bad that he had been pulled into Bang PD's office. Slumped in his seat, he blinked blankly at the man in front of him.

"Okay....?"

"George, I don't think you realize just how big BTS is now. One word from you influences a large group of people."

George nodded slowly. He was finding it incredibly hard to follow. What had he done other than defending an innocent fan who had done absolutely nothing but give him constructive criticism in the nicest way they possibly could. George scrolled through the article, finding no problem in what he had done.

Heck, the article was praising him for standing up for the fan in the interview.

To turn a long story, short; The BTS Boys had the pleasure of meeting a few fans in an interview which took place in America. One of the girls had politely given him some advice, basically saying that in interviews, he should be more vocal as he's her bias and she wants to hear him.

George was completely fine with what she had said and she was respectful in the way she had proposed the request to him. He knew he needed to be more vocal in interviews, he speaks fluent English. But sometimes, his anxiety did get the best of him and he just couldn't, he sweetly told the girl about his anxiety and how it affected him in certain aspects such as English interviews - he was simply just more comfortable in Korea - and that he would work on it.

The girl was absolutely adorable and he actually found her advice helpful, but the fans didn't though, as when the interview came out, she was bashed in the comments and all over different social media platforms - Twitter, the most ruthless.

The girl couldn't have been any older than 17 and a situation like this could've undoubtedly messed with her emotionally and mentally. George, being the kind soul he is, politely addressed the situation in a different interview.

"No, I understand that I have an influence which is exactly why I spoke up about the situation. Look. I know you just want to protect me and my image, but there was nothing but positive feedback, the girl couldn't have been any older than what? 17? Having all this hate on her shoulders, especially the comments that involved her ending her life, could've done something to her mentally. I didn't want that. She didn't deserve it. So I spoke out and the hate died down. I didn't do anything wrong."

Bang PD sighed.

He knew this was a waste of time, but he had to at least address the situation with George face to face. He completely understood what George meant and wasn't too pressed on the fact that he had saved this girl any more trouble, it was just that he didn't want George constantly stepping out when an Army gets backlash because that could quite possibly lead to a backlash on BTS and Bang PD couldn't afford that.

George was a stubborn boy with a golden heart that just wanted the best for everyone, especially those who had provided him with his dream coming true. Everybody at BigHit knew that which is why they were always weary when it came to addressing things with him. He's a fair boy, if he's done something wrong then he'll admit it and put his hands up. But if he hasn't and he knows he hasn't then he won't do anything. He'll try to see it from the perspective of everybody else, but there's hardly ever a time when George steps down when he knows he's in the right.

And that's what so many people love about him. And also what many hate about him.

"I understand what you did was to help this fan out, and I do not knock you for that. If anything, I respect you more. But please, maybe next time could you consult us? You gave me the shock of my life when I heard your little English accent scold the fans."

Oh, Bang PD would never admit it but George's accent has him weak at the knees. He loves him, he'll never vocally admit that and neither would George, but everyone knows that he has a soft spot for the living meme.

But then again, it's not really surprising, George just has that charm.
