Author's Note: Remember that Korean will be italicized for when Kookie isn't speaking English :) Lol sorry this chapter is unedited. Hopefully it's not too bad.

"You let him DRINK?!" You exploded, everything else forgotten upon receiving this news and blowing up at the boy over the phone.

"What?! No!" Sam quickly defended, "We weren't drinking together, he somehow got it on his own."

"How? He's underage!"

"Really (Y/N)? It's a high school prom. Everyone somehow has alcohol. He probably didn't have to go far to get it."

You groaned and pressed fingers to your forehead in order to stop your throbbing head ache. Why was this happening now? You fell silent and processed what Sam was telling you. Jungkook was drunk... OK sure. What did that have to do with you?

"Just take him home," You informed him quietly, not allowing guilt to wash over you as you bit your lower lip and closed your eyes. "He'll be fine as long as he's home. I can't help you."

"Uhh... I'd really rather not."

"Why?!" You exploded, angry once more as Sam seemed to be pulling you into the situation.

"He's freaking me out!" Sam countered, voice slightly on edge in defense. "For one, he's not talking in English so no one knows what the heck he's saying. For two he keeps calling me you and trying to kiss me, which quite frankly I find insulting! Trust me, I already tried to get him out of here, but he's putting up a fight and causing a scene."

Your cheeks felt hot as you processed this information and your mind conjured the scene Sam described. It was beyond ridiculous, and you felt sympathy for everyone involved. In any other circumstance, you would have ran to Jungkook immediately. But for then, you just... couldn't.

Not without hesitance at least.

"Listen (Y/N)," Sam spoke in a more serious tone, "I know things are bad right now. Heck, I still don't know what even happened! But that doesn't matter because... Jungkook needs you. I think you're the only one who can get him out of this. I'm not trying to guilt you, but I've already heard talk about him getting rejected in the middle of prom. And now? People are lining up to record him, laughing at him even."

Your heart dropped knowing Sam had been lying about the 'not trying to guilt you' part. Whether he was trying or not, it still worked. You felt immense pain at his words, and as badly as you wanted to hang up and never have to worry about your emotions again... you knew you couldn't.

"OK," you spoke simply, gripping onto your phone tighter as you made your decision, "I'm coming. Where are you? I didn't pay attention to where after prom was."

"The roller skating rink," Sam informed you with relief and happiness apparent in his voice, "Come quick and- JUNGKOOK STOP THAT!"

The phone call was cut short upon the sudden exclamation, but it was fine. You were already shooting out of bed and pulling rubber boots over your pajama pants. You looked like a mess, but you didn't really care. You needed to help your friend, and honestly, you figured looking so ridiculous might help take the attention off of him.

Now that you had made up your mind, every ounce of you was pulled towards Jungkook. You flung the window open in a frantic attempt to escape your room quickly without being spotted by your parents; wincing in slight pain when your body ached with the positions and movements.

After making your way down the tree, you sprinted as well as you could towards the road and took off towards the direction of the roller skating rink. You knew your parents would kill you if they found out you had ran off at midnight after already coming home, but you couldn't worry about that. Jungkook was and always would be your number one priority, even if you wished he wasn't.
