Chapter 32

"W-what?" Luke stutters "N-no mum your names Sandra"

Sandra or Liz, whatever her name is shakes her head. "Luke come and sit down, you too Michael"

We both go and sit down on the couch. She sits next to us. "Why are you called Sandra?" I ask her.

"Look people were after me, for something I did" she explains "I was drinking human blood at the time and there was a teenager in the woods and I couldn't help it. But humans saw me, called me a freak and a monster. I ran away from home from my vampire family, I changed my hair colour and even changed my name. Then I found Keith, my whole life changed. I was happy, I still am"

So that's a lot to take in "wow" I breathe out.

Luke however didn't take it so good.

"So basically I've been lied to my whole life" he says coldly. Uh oh this is going to end up good.

"No sweetie"

"Yes mum" he stands up "you've lied to me about everything you've lied to all of us"

He looks back at Ashton and Calum to see guilt on their eyes. I could see he was angry.

"THEY KNEW!" He shouts at Sandra/Liz

"Look we thought you would be more sensitive about it"

"SENSITIVE! WHY COULDN'T YOU JUST TELL ME MUM?"

"Luke calm down-"

He looks back at Ashton and Calum "you two shut up" he snarls at them "don't you dare say anything"

Sandra/Liz stands up "don't talk to them like that"

"Oh I'm sorry mum you expect me to be jumping with joy. Well sorry mum I'm really pissed off"

"Look I'm sorry Luke-"

"Oh no no no don't 'I’m sorry Luke' me mother. WHY COULDN'T YOU TELL ME"

He whacks the vase with flowers in on the floor and I sit back a little, scared of angry Luke.

He looks at Sandra/Liz, Ashton and Calum before shaking his head "I need to go to my room"

I stand up "Luke-"

"MICHAEL WILL YOU PLEASE FUCK OFF"

I take a step back in shock, he's never raised his voice like that before, especially to me.

He leaves and Luke's mother leaves as well. Calum turns me around "you okay"

I blink back the tears that start to form "I-I'm fine"

I collapse myself into Calum's arms. He holds me tightly and leads me to the sofa, whispering that he's angry and everything's going to be okay.

I know he's angry but it still hurts.

"I-I didn't m-mean to make him m-mad" I cry out.

I feel a blanket go over my shoulders "it's not your fault" Ashton whispers.

"He's just mad or upset" Calum whispers "just give him an hour and he will back down here for a cuddle"

I laugh quietly "thanks guys" I mumble before closing my eyes and let sleep take over me.

Today just been too much.
