(A very very very short update. The end is so near. Ha-ha.)
Gabriel Agreste immediately left the room—together with Tomoe Tsurugi—as soon as Marinette ran away. They've done what they were supposed and planned to do.
When Gabriel reached his house, he immediately went to his lair—Hawk Moth's lair to be particular. This is a pefect opportunity for me to akumatize someone. And that someone is Marinette.
Adrien, who just got home after getting informed what his father and Tomoe did to Marinette, went straight his father's office.
But when he reached the office, Gabriel was nowhere to be found. The only thing he could see is an entrance.
He got curious so he get in. But what he saw shocked him.
"Father?" he asked, feeling so betrayed. All this time, his father was the reason why he and Ladybug are always in trouble.
"Adrien? What are you doing here?" his father asked—shocked. He wasn't even able to send an akuma outside because of hearing his son's voice.
"You are Hawk Moth..." Adrien uttered.
"I am," Hawk Moth simply said.
Adrien glared at him. "Why are you doing this?"
"For you. I know how much you miss your mother, and by having Ladybug and Cat Noir's miraculous, I will be able to wish for your mother's life back," Hawk Moth answered.
"You don't have to do that," Adrien said. Of course he missed her mother but what his father is planning to isn't right.
"I want to. You can help me," Hawk moth replied.
Adrien shook his head disappointedly. He couldn't believe that his father even thought that he would help him.
Hawk moth took a step towards Adrien.
"Help me, son. If we finally succeed, we will be able to have your mother back," he said, trying to convince Adrien to agree.
"No," Adrien firmly shook his head. "This isn't the right thing to do. Mother is gone and we have to accept it. Just give up, f-father," he father.
"There's no way I'm going to give up, Adrien!" Hawk Moth snapped.
"You're just putting Ladybug and Cat Noir's life in danger," Adrien said. He couldn't believe it. His own father is the reason why his and his lady's life are always in danger.
"If they are not stubborn and will just give me what I want, then they won't get hurt."
"This is unbelievable," Adrien muttered. "I am not helping you."
"And why is that? This is for your own good."
Adrien took a deep breath. If this will be the only reason that can make his fathet change his mind, then he'll do it.
"Plagg, claws out."
Hawk Moth's jaw dropped.
He couldn't believe what he saw.
"I can't help you because I am the one who will be in danger. I am Cat Noir, father."
