After a long nother day back to work, all I wanted to do was lay up in the bed and relax. My feet were killing me and I really missed my babies.
"You wanna quit yet?" Kentrell asked me as he rubbed my legs as they were thrown across his lap while I laid back on the couch. I shook my head
"No. It's only my first week back. I gotta get used to it again"
"I'm tellin you Noel, you ain't gotta work"
"I know. But I want to" I grabbed his face "but I can't lie, I missed you all day"
"I missed you too"
I smiled and kissed him before he continued talking
"Especially since I had to change all them shitty ass diapers"
All I could do was laugh and roll my eyes
"That's Whatchu Get. We could've had a puppy but nah, you wanted to get me pregnant so bad"
"You right. And ima give you a couple more months until I getchu pregnant again"
I had to do a double take when I looked at him
"Excuse me?"
"You heard me"
"I'm no sir. Kemoni is all you getting"
"Nah. I need bout three mo'. And I want all my kids close together in age"
"Kentrell what the hell!"
He smiled and I rolled my eyes
"You think having kids is easy. All you gotta do is bust a nut and wait until the baby get here. I gotta deal with all the complicated shit"
"I had to deal witcho complicated ass. That's a lot worse than carrying a damn baby" Kentrell told me and I pushed him upside the head
"Shut up. I'm not complicated"
"Lie again"
"Fuck you kentrell"
"Come on then" his hand traveled up to my thigh and he leaned over to me
"Not right now. Kemoni sitting right there" I pointed to Kemoni who was asleep in her swing right in front of us
"She sleep now come on before she wake up" he started kissing me and I laughed a little
"Kentrell..."
"Hmm"
His lips traveled down to my neck and he continued to suck on it until Kemoni woke up and let out a cry. He dropped his head and cursed himself, making me laugh
"I told you"
"Shut up"
I pushed him off of me and got up to pick Kemoni up.
"Hey mamas. I missed you all day"
I bounced her around a little and kissed her cheek until she finally quieted down
"She need to take her ass back to sleep" Kentrell muttered as he stood up and I laughed
"Perks of being a parent huh?"
He mugged me and I laughed
"Get outcha feelings kentrell. You act like you ain't gone have other chances"
"Not with her crying ass" he pointed at Kemoni and I laughed
"Oop. I see you're not daddy's favorite nomore"
"Don't lie to my baby like that. You still come in second to Kemoni"
I rolled my eyes as somebody banged on the door.
"fuck?" Kentrell questioned as he walked over to the window, looking to see who it was because the person continued to bang on the door making Kemoni cry all over again
"Who is that banging on the door like that this late?" I asked, now irritated
"Fuck wrong with Ben?" He asked, walking over to the door and yanked it open "hell wrong witchu?"
Ben stormed into the house with the meanest look on his face. He had a look that I've never seen before, even I was scared for a minute so I just stood where I was and soothed Kemoni
"What wrong witchu?"
Ben breathed a little bit before speaking
"We bout to go find judah"
Oh hell
Kentrell looked at Ben like he was crazy
"Nigga you see what time it is?"
"Fuck what time it is. That nigga gotta die, TONIGHT!"
"Ben what happened?" I finally spoke while Kentrell went into the room shaking his head. Ben paced the floor a little before answering my question with tears in his eyes
"They shot up Boomer car"
"What?"
"WHAT?!" Kentrell yelled from the room. Not too long afterwards he emerged from the bedroom fully dressed like he normally does when they're about to go do some shut. He went over to the locked drawer where he keeps his guns and grabbed one
"He shot up the fuckin' car and kayla was in there. Micah too"
"What the hell! Are they okay? Where are they?" I immediately asked. What kind of sick person would shoot up a car with their child and their child's mother inside.
"We ain't got time for questions right now. I'll be back" Kentrell told me before walking over to me
"Kentrell y'all be safe. And text me or something to let me know y'all good"
"Gotchu" he replied before kissing both Kemoni and I's forehead then followed Ben out the door. As soon as they were gone, Kemoni started crying for the third time in a row and I sighed deeply
