"A car?" Sebastian repeated, snapping his head up.

"Yea." Arielle sighed, looking over at him. "Are you okay?"

"Of course no!" He groaned, "Can you describe the vehicle? I'm going to try to file a report to the guys."

"Isn't that a bit much?" She asked, "It was a black car with tinted windows, an SUV maybe?"

Sebastian stood as he made his way to his laptop before typing the short, vague description down, "Nothing is 'a bit much' when it comes to you."

Arielle couldn't help but find this protective side of Sebastian attractive but of course, this wasn't the right time.

"Well, I doubt you'll find anything." She rolled her eyes before standing up, "Do you know how many people own black cars?"

"Yes, but not many people have access to windows tinted dark enough to not see through them." Sebastian explained, "I have to look into it."

"Sebastian..." Arielle muttered, coming over to his side of the desk and leaning against it.

"Arielle, this is your safety we're talking about," Sebastian continued, "Why you aren't as paranoid as I am right now is beyond me."

She chuckled before pulling his chin upwards to face her before smiling, "Someone in this relationship has to be level-headed enough to deal with all that goes on."

Arielle could feel Sebastian relax with her touch before he stood and closed the space between them, "I'm always calm."

The sweet laugh that escaped Arielle's lips caused Sebastian's lips to curl into a smile, "Yeah right, you're like a ticking time bomb."

He chuckled but before he could respond, she cut him off with a quick kiss.

"Get back to work." She ordered before turning to pack the reusable containers.

His look of shocked was quickly masked as he turned her back around for yet another short kiss.

"You have work to do Seb." Arielle reasoned, "Also, I don't want the front desk to think we're fucking."

"Well we kinda are." He grinned, before wincing at the slap from Arielle.

"Hush. The faster you finish work here, the quicker you can come home." Arielle made her way to the door before turning around to the mischievous look in Sebastian's eye.

Not before rolling her eyes again, she blew him a kiss and said a quick 'I love you' and assured him that she would be safe.

As Arielle stepped into the elevator, she sighed knowing her word of 'being safe' had no reassurance on Sebastian.

Arielle walked faster as she weaved her way through the lobby, attentive of the man following her not even four steps behind.

She picked up the phone to call Sebastian but not even after the second ring, the man caught up to her.

"Arielle?" He called out, waiting for a response for confirmation.

She wiggled out of his tight grasp just as Sebastian picked up, "Missed me already?"

"Lobby, now." She breathed just as the man grabbed on her shoulder.

He grabbed her phone and threw it to the ground, "Thought you could escape?"

The unnessacary act had gathered a bit of attention before the man stepped one step closer to whisper to into her ear, "One move and these innocent people get hurt."

His taunting caused her to tense before her pulled her close to him and led them to the elevator headed to the parking garage.

She could never let someone die because of her.

Let alone someone innocent.

But before the doors could close, Arielle watched as Sebastian held the doors open.

The man next to Arielle visibly started to get wary, his eyes darting for an escape.

He clearly didn't expect for this to happen.

"Get your hand off of her." Sebastian spoke, each word instilling more and more fear in the man.

His grip loosened slowly before Sebastian being the impatient man he is, grabbed him away from her.

"Take care of him." Sebastian ordered as he handed the man who was just a tad shorter than him to two sercurity men.

Arielle watched as her heart beat furiously as those on the floor clapped at what seemed at nothing more than Sebastian's heroic act.

He stepped in and let the doors close completely before turning to Arielle, "Are you okay? Did he hurt you?"

Arielle let out a breath she hadn't realized she was holding, "Yea, just a little shaken up."

She stared at the floor before she was engulfed in a hug from Sebastian.

Ari pushed him away and smiled softly at him, "At home."

He wanted to object but restrained knowing that he didn't watch to catch attention from anyone.

Sebastian made a mental note to erase the elevator footage and do nothing but comfort Arielle all night that night.

He walked her to the car before making sure she was safe and walked to his.

She didn't deserve any of this.

"You know you didn't have to do this?" Arielle chuckled as she fed Sebastian some chocolte ice cream much to his objections earlier.

"I know but it gives me an excuse to be near you more." He rationed, "If you keep feeding me ice cream and bulking me up like a pig, I'm going to loose these abs."

"I don't mind." She shrugged, feeding him another spoonful. "I like you for you."

Sebastian clutched his heart jokingly, "What did I do to deserve you?"

Arielle shrugged before eating a scoop and turning back to the TV.

"You know I'm so glad you decided on Endgame." Sebastian said as he pulled Arielle closer, "Most girls would take advantage of this and watch like 'The Notebook'."

She chuckled before keeping her eyes glued to the TV regardless of watching the movie for the hundredth time, "America's ass is so fine."

Sebastian scoffed before smirking, "My ass is better."
