As you read this story I would like to address that this will be a Chapter and Part based story.

Once you read this info you will head straight to Chapter 1. Fair Warning. It was my first ever chapter of writing so its quite a long chapter. I wanted to make it as good as possible for my first impression so I hope you are prepared

Most of this story is already planned far in advanced. So in a way the story is already "finished". But the info you are reading as of now takes place in the past. Hard to explain but think of it as you are reading about a story that takes place in the past. But you are experiencing it as if it were the present. So some information may seem a bit confusing to understand)

Now for the characters

Agent 3 in the start of this story is 16 due to
1) Inklings being canonically 14 in Splatoon.

2) The events of Splatoon 2 take place 2 years later. So 14 plus 2 is 16.

As for Agent 8, she is 16 in the beginning of this story as well. I chose for her to be 16 for 2 reasons.

1) Cause 8 made her first appearance in Splatoon 2. So 8x2=16.

2) Because she is canonically 16 as well depending how you want to see it within the splatoon lore

Side Note on 8
Originally i thought of the age 14 just to make her 2 years younger than Agent 3 just to be cliche. If anyone has ever dated then you'll probably know what I mean. The common age for dating is usually 16 and 14 for some people should they date in their teen years. And also because there tends to be a 1-2 year age gap for dating
(Studies show it)

As the story continues the characters age will grow as well. Just to clarify by the end of this story each character will in fact be "Legal"
(Legal is a topic I'd rather not get into. To keep it short 18 is the legal age or older where I live. For other areas I have no say)

Let's get on the topic of names

I don't have a name at the moment for Agent's 3 and 8 as of writing this. But eventually I will.

Going forward with names I will address something. I won't be giving them any kinda of Japanese or "Anime" types of name.

Before assuming I'm "Racist" or something. I'm not. Let me explain.

I was inspired to write this story because of reading other stories of series I enjoy. But one thing I always noticed was that they had some type of Japanese or other culture inspired names. I personally don't mind what people call their original characters. But to me it just didn't seem as original to use a Japanese name.
