''Hey, have you heard the song 'After Dark'?'' asked Olivia.
''Nope, give me a listen,'' Alex requested.
She pulled her phone and headphones out of her pocket, and plugged them in. He took one end and shoved it in his ear, whilst she did the same and pressed 'play'. As the song played, Olivia found herself singing quietly, causing Alex to give her a quick side glance and a smile. Once it ended, they both took their ends (off the headphones) out.
''That was catchy,'' Alex exclaimed.
''Hey, you wanna go up on the roof?'' Olivia suggested.
''Sure,'' replied Alex.
The sky had turned dark and shining stars glimmered up above. They both walked out to the back of the house and slowly climbed the ladder, being careful not to fall. Alex held out his hand to Olivia, helping to pull her up from the last step.
