Camila's POV

“God, how do you manage to come everywhere?” I whispered

“When I say that I'm always attentive to everything around me, people don't take me seriously.” she whispered back
“Hey, why are we whispering like that?”

“Because we don't want your sister to hear us... I think” I said and shrugged, still saying the words in a low voice.

Taylor grabbed my arm and almost dragged me to her room, closed the door and looked at me. Oh gof, I know very well that look she has right now.

There she comes.

“I know, you're managing to do something that my family has been trying for a long time and can't do...” she counted, sitting next to me on the bed

“Some kind of food?” I played dumb

“First: you don't know how to cook.”
She made a two with her fingers
“second: you know it's not that”
made a three fingers
“and third, well, I don't have a third, leave it there.” I held on so I didn't laugh

“Can I continue talking or will you interrupt me again?” she asked, a little bravely.
I nodded “perfect, now where was I...?” she thought “Ah yes, the fright of the family. Hm, do you have any idea how much Lauren has changed since you arrived?” she asked

I shook my head, in the end I really didn't know “Much.” whe answered for me
“There are times when when she is with you, that flashes of my old sister come to my mind..” she smiled a little

“And that didn't happen before, not like that...” I looked at her, somehow confused- “Ok, I'll make it clearer” she said and smiled, continuing the conversation
“Today, for example, I saw Lauren worry about something that didn't had to do with her, she was really trying to help you recently. And her eyes had a different brightness, something that I didn't see for a long time..” she said and sighed “She became worried, desperate to make you feel better...”

“About what things was she worried, me helping?” I said and got up, hoping for the conversation to stop there “Will it rain today?” I asked and looked at the sky, through the window

“It's going to happen, it's going to rain and a lightning will strike your head. So that you learn not to invade Taylor Jauregui...” she said her name with pride

I laughed and thanked her mentally for changing the subject.

“We are rehearsing a musical in the theater course later...” I counted, encouraged
“I'm going to do a voice cast tomorrow, to see if I get the paper...”

“Really?” she said animated
“I've never heard you sing.
But, it will take time to get it....”

“Oh, I'm going to risk it, since I'm in that wave of new experiences...” I said, referring to the exchange

“Name of the experience:...”
she moved her hands away in the air, while looking at what she said as if it was written there “Saving a stupid asshole”

“Dont start...” I said and rolled my eyes
“you're very obsessed with that.”

“Uncomfortable you are being a good pastime.” she said and smiled, hugging me sideways

We laughed and talked for a while longer, then went down together to go to dinner.

“Someone call Lauren, please...” she asked, from the kitchen “she doesn't hear anything when she has those headphones in her ears.” she demanded. I smiled, remembering my mum speaking the same way gor me

“I am going...” I offered, since Tay certainly wouldn't, Michael isn't at home and Chris is watching cartoons.

“How nice of you..” she said ironically

I ignored her and went up,
in the direction of Lauren's room.
