We exchanged an accomplice smile,
Lauren looked at the clock and sighed loudly. I knew what that meant. It was time to get out of our fairy tale. There wasn't much to do, and at the door I took a last look at the room where I lived another stage.

I looked at Lauren and nodded, indicating that we could go now. I was afraid of leaving that place and that things would change, that the weather would be different.

I touched her hand lightly, it didn't take more than seconds for her to understand and intertwine her fingers in mine. I squeezed harder than was necessary.

“I'm sorry, my hand always sweats when I walk like this.” she said and smiled shyly.

I found it simply the most beautiful thing in the universe. She left a key in the reception, talked with the person, who verified that everything was already paid, then we went to the car. I hadn't yet seen how beautiful this place was. And luxurious. She must have paid a lot in that room.

“Did you like it?” she asked and indicated the place

“Yes, much better than with the bandage” I said and smiled, playfuly “it's wonderful” I sighed, admiring the building that is left behind as we move away.

You know how to drive? she asked, breaking the silence.

“Are asking me? I think it's a bad idea...”
I saidd smiling, looking at her
“I am very nervous.”

“Nonsense, I'll show you.” she garanteed. My heart was glad to know that I would spend more time together

“Well it's at your own risk.” I said making myself clear

“You will be a great driver” she said and winked

“And you will have some beautiful problems at the car” I teased “look carefully at the car. It won't be the same after classes.”

Lauren began to laugh, a beautiful laugh that made my whole body tremble.

We arrived home. Taylor stifled me as soon as I passed the door wanting to know details. Or not so much.

“I don't want to know if my sister is good in bed” she said “just how you felt..”

I sat on the bed and laughed at Taylor's euphoria. I told her where Lauren took me, talked about the decoration, how she treated me with love. And I stopped.

“Shit, I'm not going to put up with it...”
she rubbed her hands in her hair “so my sister knows how to use her fingers well?”

I exploded in a high laugh, while she saw me with questioning face.

“I don't know if I want to hear the answer” she looked at me “she is my sister, that's disgusting” she said and  grimaced.

“ ”Well make up your mind.“ ” -I spoke coughing, trying to stop laughing.-

“Just answer me what I asked you before. Nothing else” she looked at me, and I nodded “Camila, you have to have a very strong stomach to go to bed with my sister...”

Hi, I'm dying drowned and she's still talking about that !? I cough harder, feeling my eyes watering.

“Because, I don't know, she misses...” she started saying and glanced at her nail “obviously took out the ugly part of the family, because I was born pretty” she said and pulled her hair back

“Camila, are you listening to me? Holy shit, you're red” she said and took my hand
“Are you okay!?” she asked and hit my back hard.

After a while I stopped coughing.

“Oh, shit I drowned”

“I hadn't noticed.” she said, well I did notice Taylor

“In short, you only say that because she is your sister...” I concluded

“Probably” she said andsmiled “It's good to speak bad for her sometimes” she joked.
“Also, now can I call you officially sister-in-law !?” she asked and gave me a big smile

Time soon passed after that day.
The classes began to need a dedication that often didn't give them. The musical was tomorrow, exactly four months before I returned to Mexico.

The days Lauren spent came away little by little, Clara and Michael redoubled the surveillance on what we did or where we were, after the night we spent outside.

I don't know where she's going, but I know it's weird to see her at home. But at the same time I know that she also feels that distance. And what is against it. Every time I see her I feel the urge to throw myself in her arms and the biggest problem is controlling her.
And just watch it.

I go to the early school and come back late, usually when I'm arriving she goes out.
And when we are at home Clara stays in the living room, Michael in the room watching television. Each one at a time.

Controlling in some way. Taking care of our steps and ordering us not to close the door, that day I heard Lauren mutter something like... as if not closing the door prevents us from doing something in the twenty-first century. But, we never take a chance.

I looked out the window, the night had already fallen, it was past eleven, the sky was starry and my stomach growled at the thought of the musical.

A fear of being wrong To forget something. A shame that until then had not felt. And there was no one to distract me. Taylor left with Drew, as he does every Friday.

I told Sandra and Marielle the night I spent with Lauren, they died, but they still didn't answer the email I sent them talking about the musical. Then I have no words of encouragement. The icy wind touched my face, reassuring me a little, but being alone in a night like this prevents me from blocking my nerves.

I went to bed, watching the ceiling, with a remote hope that miraculously sleep would come but he didn't. And the remote went into space. I got a scare when the door abruptly opened, I got up immediately, in order to see who it was, Lauren was standing in the door with a bowl of popcorn in one hand and some DVDs in the other.

“Don't tell me you were going to sleep?” she asked and came in, closing the door with her foot “I tried some way to distract you all day, so if you're not nervous about tomorrow morning, pretend that you are.” she teased, letting go of things she held. Her humor was so contagious that I didn't allow myself to think about the opportunities for her parents to see us.

“Remember me, I'm on the verge of a cardiac arrest...” I sat down, running my hands through my hair
“I thought I was going to be alone today”
I looked at my hands, while admitting.
She sighed and sat down in front of me.

“I know things have been a little complicated...” she said and touched my hand “I was afraid you would think that after...” she gestured, I understood what she was referring to “I was going to get away. As if that was all that mattered to me.”

“You aren't as stupid as that” I said relaxed “because if you were I would be happy to give you a punch” .

“Ah thank god, it's good that you won't. It must hurt a lot to take a punch with a barite.” she said

“How funny” I said and forced a laugh “your parents are also on us... ”

“Honestly, I only obeyed your orders so far because I know you would find it wrong if I do the opposite..” she said and looked at me “and since that involves you too, I decided to follow them” she rolled hereyes. I smiled, pretending that I hadn't found them two as a fortress between the two of us, since clearly she didn't notice it.

“But today is special” she said and touched my face “I knew you would be nervous and I wasn't going to leave you alone” I looked at her, still smiling “look, I even brought a romantic movie” she showed me, animated.
