Arthur Morgan X Modern Female Reader

Summary: Basically you are a modern woman that somehow (your choice) found yourself in 1899 and running with the Van der Linde gang.

Honestly this is just of a collection of random thoughts really XD

Word Count: 1300

Arthur had been fascinated by you since he met you, even if you do never fail to confuse him. You were literally a woman from the future and it was both endearing and insanely confusing. You were intelligent and funny, so much so that sometimes he didn't understand what you were talking about. You were beautiful and kind, but strong and didn't put up with stupid behaviour.

-----

Something that confused Arthur about you was that you make a lot references to things that nobody understands. At first he thought that you were a little weird because of it but now it actually amused him, even of he doesn't understand you.

~

You stood with Arthur as Dutch asked you both to check out some lead.

"I need you and Y/N to speak to those Gray fellas, see if they have any work for us" Dutch told Arthur, knowing that you could both handle it with ease.

"I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse" you assured the man, smiling proudly at your reference even though nobody else would understand it, it still amused you.

"Well...hopefully they will give you an offer instead" Dutch nodded slowly, giving you a confused look before looking at Arthur.

"Come on" Arthur chuckled as he patted you on the back before you both walked towards the horses. Arthur never understood your references but they still amused him and he always loved seeing the look of confusion on other people's faces.

~

You and Arthur were collecting a debt from someone that Strauss told you about, neither of you really liked collecting debts but it had to be done.

"Look, I've almost got it, I just need some more time. One more day, that's all" the man told you, neither of you believing him.

"Show me the money!" you ordered dramatically, making the man flinch but leaving him confused.

"Jesus Y/N..." Arthur shook his head and ran his hand over his face before turning back to the man. "Just give us the money" he ordered. The man nodded before hurrying inside his house to collect the debt.

You are standing in the camp with Arthur, just minding your own business and talking between yourselves.

"L/N, get outta the way, will ya?" Micah huffed as he pushed past you.

"You talking to me?" you asked as you turned to him, putting on the best Robert DeNiro impression you could muster.

"There's something wrong with you" Micah paused before muttering under his breath.

Arthur just laughed before wrapping his arm around your shoulders, pulling you into his side. Did he know what you were talking about? No. Did he love the look of confusion of Micah's face? Hell yeah!

~

You and Arthur were with a few other members of the gang were in the middle of a train robbery, after filling your bag you decided to take the position of the lookout.

"Houston, we have a problem" you called back to the others when you saw some lawmen riding towards the train on horses.

"What?" Arthur asked with a furrowed brow as he walked over to you, looking at whatever you were looking at.
