Long time no see! Apologies for the long wait. I've been neglecting this story for a long time now and I feel super guilty. But, I bear good news! So, today marks the last day of my final exam here in China and I'll be going back next week. That means, no more VPNs after this and hopefully more updates coming soon. Enjoy!

Most of the time, Shen Wei and Zhao Yun Lan wouldn't stay overnight at their parents' house.

But the blizzard this time around made them wait from lunch until dinner without showing any signs of stopping. As the piling snow grew thicker, Mama Zhao was afraid that it was not safe for them to drive home, so she persuaded both men to stay for the night.

Shen Wei felt like he had been sitting on pins and needles for the entire day. Besides the awkward interaction with the in-laws, he was also waiting anxiously for Zhao Yun Lan to interrogate him.

When he secretly observed Zhao Yun Lan from afar in the past, his heart was always shrouded by a thick layer of grey fog. It had been dwelling in a damp, gloomy space for a long time, with no light ever touching it. This time, he was careless and accidentally allowed a ray of light to leak into the small chink in his usually impenetrable armor, and this sudden light caused him to feel uncomfortable.

If Zhao Yun Lan insisted on knowing the truth, Shen Wei truly had no idea how to answer him.

But Zhao Yun Lan seemed to have forgotten about the issue. Although both men were lazing on the sofa, pretending to read some books, Zhao Yun Lan never once mentioned that issue.

However, who would've expected that once the night befell them, Zhao Yun Lan—who just came out of the shower and still smelling like shower gel—directly confronted Shen Wei. He put his hands on Shen Wei's shoulder, pressing him down the bed and started to question him, "Shen laoshi, I know you are the epitome of a good teacher, but I never expected your thoughts to be that dirty. Back then, I was nothing but a mere brat who couldn't even walk properly. So apparently, you've set your sights on me since then, huh?"

Shen Wei's cheeks flushed all of a sudden. The tips of his thin, delicate ears burned crimson as if blood could drip from it anytime. His glasses hung askew from his ears. Yet, despite the obvious display of his embarrassing predicament, Shen Wei still attempted to explain with a serious tone, "Stop this nonsense. I don't harbor any improper thoughts towards you at that time."

"Oh?" Zhao Yun Lan smiled smugly, "Then, could Shen laoshi tell me, when did you start having improper thoughts about me?"

Shen Wei spared him a glance before he suddenly shifted his gaze away. His thick eyelashes hung down, covering his limpid eyes. Then, those long eyelashes quivered lightly, as if Shen Wei suddenly remembered something.

When Zhao Yun Lan noticed Shen Wei's reddening ears, he suddenly felt himself like a gangster who was harassing a young woman. He exposed an extremely mischievous grin before stretching his hand out to take off Shen Wei's glasses and put it elsewhere. Gripping that pale chin, he licked Shen Wei from his jaw up to his earlobe while whispering, "Baobeir, come on, tell your husband..."

"Stop it." Shen Wei's body shuddered . He wanted to push Zhao Yun Lan away, yet the other man stuck to him like an octopus. Zhao Yun Lan persuaded Shen Wei to confess, otherwise he wouldn't let the other man go.

Shen Wei's face flushed red before turning pale, back and forth, intermittently . After a few minutes of uncomfortable silence, he finally relented and mumbled slowly, "When you're around seventeen years old."

At that time, Zhao Yun Lan was in the stage of transitioning from a teenage boy to a grown-up man.

"There's one rainy day where you forgot to bring an umbrella," Shen Wei closed his eyes, avoiding eye contact with Zhao Yun Lan. The words were stuck in Shen Wei's throat for a long time before he managed to utter them out, "I saw you from across the street. You were wearing... wearing a white shirt and... you were... thoroughly soaked by the rain..."

That seventeen-year-old boy with slender limbs was still brimming with unwashed innocence of youth, just like a fountain of inexhaustible energy. All these were integrated into that lean body which was only wrapped in a thin piece of drenched, white shirt and undoubtedly, within Shen Wei's line of sight.

Those stuttered words were akin to the light of a candle. One by one, slowly but surely, they gradually seeped into Zhao Yun Lan's heart, warming him from the inside.

Shen Wei's love and desire, laid bare before Zhao Yun Lan and it was more sincere than any other thing in this world.
