It wasn't common for people to willingly move into an area where gang activity was nearing its highest but here Prim was. She fell in love with this shop and knew it would be perfect for her and what she needed. With enough space and just the right amount of charm her heart was set in stone about her desire to open here.

"Mam' I'm sorry but this might not be the best spot I mean, there are a lot of crime reports around here and I wouldn't want such a pretty little lady to get hurt." The property man was really trying to dig this one out and Prim could feel her eyes roll.

"I'm sorry sir' but I rather like this lot and I believe it would be perfect. I don't care about the crime reports." She fought back. The man couldn't help but clench his teeth but sighed as he brought out the paperwork for her to sign and transfer the money and title over.

"What would you called it?" He asked out of habit. It was simple customer service but Prim couldn't help be annoyed.

"I'm not sure yet but I can assure it will be magic."

"A magic shop?" The man raised an eyebrow.

"A magic shop."

Shaking his head at the younger girl he finalized the papers once more before handing over the keys.

"She's all yours." Throwing them to her Prim couldn't help but be excited to go in again and even start working on her envisioned plans for the shop. She had managed to save up lot prior to moving and buying her own place so money wasn't a big issue for the moment.

Quickly grabbing a couple cleaning supplies and gloves Primrose got to work.

Along with her music few police sirens flew by her window but she couldn't care less. The crime didn't bother her and she didn't really pay attention to what the news had to say anyway.

Prim always thought herself to be an understanding person and tried her best to not judge and to help those who needed it. Yes, the life of crime wasn't Prim's first choice of action if people needed help out of something but for some people it was. So she just swept on and kept cleaning while some other locals came and asked a couple questions about her and what she was gonna open here.

She greeted them all with a smile and even quickly scurried back to her car to grab a small rose for a little girl and her mother who stopped by.

She was brightening up the area even before she officially opened.

She even met some gang members. She didn't know it though. They where to stop by and make sure she wasn't officiated with any other rival gangs or put up a post somewhere. Upon meeting the young girl though many left with a small smile and more often then not a rose, daisy or even a little lily. It confused the crime world but they didn't really question it.

However one thing was for sure,

This little flower shop was now unknowingly protected by the small gangs around it and the girl was not to be touched.

They didn't want to loose the little ray of sunshine they smaller gangs found, but they rued the day the bigger ones found out about her and would most likely try and keep her to themselves.

Primrose had no clue what was happening but whenever a someone would walk by or start up a conversation with her she always had them leave with a small flower. Some even offered to help and soon enough she had enough people helping her set up and make it her own the shop could've opened the day she moved in.

She didn't know why this place was marked off as such a dangerous zone but she happily made her friends with the extremely warm welcoming locals.

Or what she thought where locals.

Since her shop connected with a little living space up stairs she quickly got settled into her own home and thanked those who had helped her. Majority where male but even the females that where there got special flowers.

"Go ahead and take one that you want. Think of it as a thank you for helping." She smiles at the small group and heard a few laughs and a small 'awe' as she watched one of the girls go for a pretty blooming rose.

"Oh Wait!" She quickly stopped the girl before gently grabbing the rose and removing the thorns from it. Prim blushed as she handed it back to the girl and giggled. "Wouldn't want you getting pricked."

The girl smiled fondly before taking her leave while the rest of the group shuffled over to the daisies and lilies.

Even those from rival gangs didn't mind being around each other as long as they where in the vicinity of the flower shop. It was almost an unspoken rule.

No crime or brawls near or at the flower shop.

And

No harm to the owner or workers of the shop at all costs.

According to some gangs it was almost punishable by death to break one of the rules. However this didn't stop the police from being their nosey selves and sometimes gave the girl a hard time since the area around her was now suddenly crime free. This annoyed those around her shop though since all they could do was take their business further away to keep them busy.

So whenever the police gave her a hard time, they give them an equally worse time further away.

For them they where looking out for their little happy friend, for Prim she was simple ranting to her friends about how the police can be rude for no reason.

Primrose was happy with her shop and she loved where the locals where.

She just hoped that she wouldn't run into to much trouble.

The local gangs just hoped that the strongest wouldn't get wind of the happy girl's shop.
