Since I was finished with my classes early this week, I came home last night for the weekend. I don't talk to nobody on campus and Kd was really my only friend when we were together, now we don't even go near each other but it's fine.
Although I kinda miss the feel of being in a relationship, this single thing is good for me. I've started taking more time for myself, my goals and my future. I can dress how I want, talk to whoever I want and do whatever I want. Yeah Kd might've moved on quick and it did hurt at first because that was two years, but I learned to get over and I most definitely learned that I'm too good to be sitting around worrying about somebody else and what they got going on so I did what I had to do.. boss up and move on
I sat back on Noel's bed playing with kemoni's hair as she wildly slept across my lap, listening to liyah as she told Noel and I about her and baby joe
"So are y'all together now orrr...?" Noel asked as she spoke with her hands. Liyah shrugged
"Girl ion know. We just chillin for now I guess"
"Just chillin?"
"I guess. We text all the time and he'll come to the house and pick me up outta the blue"
"Y'all be fucking too ain't it?" Noel asked with a cheesy grin while she laid across the end of the bed on her stomach. We both looked at liyah and she nodded
"Last night we did. But that was the first time since the cabin trip. I must admit though I'm proud of myself for holding off for so long cause he been tryina fuck with me since I first came out here"
"That's like a year and some months.." I told her with a nod and she reached in the bag of grapes that sat in the middle of the bed between all of us
"Yeah. Long enough cause before the cabin trip the last time I got dick was kentrell's party. My fast ass was only down here for five months and I was already being a hoe"
"Well shit" Noel started as she ate a grape and propped her head up with her hand "I was only four weeks in when I fucked Kentrell"
"Four weeks of dating?" Liyah asked and she shook her head
"Bitch no. Two weeks after I moved out here I met Kentrell then two weeks later we was already fucking"
"That why he was batshit crazy over you bitch and you had us thinking he was just psycho" I threw the pillow liyah had at Noel and she laughed
"Well he is psycho" liyah shrugged "Noel just added fuel to that fire"
"It ain't my fault he got sprung"
"How long you and Kd was talkin before y'all started fucking?" Liyah asked me and I shrugged
"Girl ion even remember. And I'm not trying too. That ain't my dick nomo"
"He still with lil Ashley?" Noel asked and I laughed
"Yeah"
"Babymomma!" Kentrell yelled as he walked into the room and pushed the door open, causing Kemoni to jump in her sleep. She sat her head up and I quickly began to pat her back, shushing her while she went back to sleep
"Don't be patting on my daughter back too hard now" he threatened me and I rolled my eyes
"I got MY niece"
"And that MY daughter"
"Hey sexy" Noel smiled while she looked at Kentrell
"Y'all two get on my nerves" I told the both of them
Kentrell stood in front of her while finishing the process of rolling a blunt and he looked at me. "Yo boo just pulled up"
"What boo? I'm single" I shrugged and he chuckled
"Kd still yo nigga. Don't act like that. I know you miss him and he miss you. Fuck Aaliyah"
"Ashley" Noel tried to correct him but she was wrong herself
"Alaysia" I corrected both of them "and I don't miss him"
"Why he here?" Liyah asked "I thought he said he was spending time with his girl this weekend"
"Where is everybody?" A girls voice enthusiastically asked and we all looked at Kentrell
"Desean..." Noel motioned for him to come closer to her. She sat up and he sat down beside her but she immediately grabbed him by his shirt "Why that bitch here?"
"Shit you askin the wrong one. Now let go of my fuckin shirt"
"Or whatchu gone do?"
He whispered something in her ear making her laugh and he started kissing on her
"Damn get a room" liyah told them and they both looked at her
"We in it. Bounce yo way out like that lil kangaroo you look like"
Liyah smacked her lips and I laughed
"Hey y'all" Kd said as he walked into the room, behind him was Alaysia. She instantly laid eyes on me and rolled them before looking at Kd.
I guess Noel caught her doing it because she looked back at me then at alaysia "ummm..."
"Chilllll" I said out loud, knowing she was about to say something with that reckless mouth that she's grown lately. Kd looked at me and I went back to playing in kemoni's hair
"You know what" Noel told Kentrell, placing her hand on his lap "how about you and your blunt go outside.. and take your friends with you"
"That bitch ain my friend. That yo friend" Kentrell mumbled and Noel scoffed like the girl wasn't sitting right there. Kd whispered something to alaysia then looked at us
"She gone sit in here with y'all while we go smoke"
"Why she can't go outside withchu?" Noel asked and Kentrell started cracking up, immediately standing up
"Aye Kd come on. Noel, play nice"
"I'll try daddy" she responded, making him smirk and they left the room, closing the door behind them. Alaysia just awkwardly stood there while Noel laid back down across the bed how she was originally, starting up the conversation
"Now what were we talkin bout again?"
