Kara's P.O.V

"Kara, Im here to pick you up."

I heard a light charismatic voice as I am getting rock softly.

I take a peek and rub my eyes.

"...Xian?"

He smiles and rub my head.
"Wake up sleepy head. We are going home. Your Dad is going crazy at home."

"Dad!" I panic as my blood boils.
Yes. Dad gave me until 5 pm only.
I look outside the window and it is already so dark.

"Will he...will he punish me?" I ask trembling.

Xian smiles and carry me up.
I am so scared about Dad reaction to care.

"Hey! Let me down!" I realize I am being princess carry!

"Who cares? Just let me carry you."

I shake my head and look seriously at Xian's eyes.
He pauses and stare at me.
Then he laughs and bump my forehead to his.
"Fine." He said and put me down.

I realize Mom is looking at us with a confuse look.

"I am her Dad subordinate." Xian explained.

"Then, are you aware that Kara is your Boss's daughter that is why you approach her?" Uncle Dad said angrily.
He is angry that Kara has been princess carry in his presence.
His Dad mode on.

"I am not. But even if I dont know or know, nothing changes. I still like Kara as Kara." Xian said and look at me tenderly.

I look down averting my eyes as my face flush.

Uncle Dad angrily look at Xian from head to toe.
Disatisfied that the guy has nothing to be critisize.

"Kara is still young. Why are you princess carrying her? What if you send a wrong signal and Kara got hurt because of you?" Uncle Dad is really angry.

Xian look at me when I happen to look at him.

He smiles.

"I wont be sending any wrong message."

I dont understand if those words has deep meaning but my face feels even hotter because of his charming smile.

Mom is on the side and looking at Uncle Dad with a pout.

"I am the Mother. Why are you depriving me that right?" She said quietly but enough for me to hear.
I sigh.

"Sorry for picking me up." I look at Xian.
His face turn from smiling to frowning the moment we went inside the car.

I keep quiet but the silence eating me.

He looks at me.

"Felix said you wont come with us to Japan? Your sister Anastasia wishes to go there so the Boss planned the trip asap for her coming birthday. Last time Your sister Marga ask a brand hew bag from London. Arent you angry that they are having all that fun?" He ask and his mood stabilize.
Why is he bad in the first place?

"I dont care. I want to study." I said and looks at him.

"Then it is true that even the clebrant wont be able to go cause she have to stay and study?" Xian mood lightens and laugh.

"Hehe. Serves her right." I said proudly.

"Want to eat somewhere?"

"Where? La Gabrielle?"

"Oh? You know that place?"

"I--I am brought by King."

"Ah. Yeah." He nods.
