Three days of training later, I get my new goggles. On the way to Gamma Gym, Hatsume delivers them with a wide grin on her face.

"So! I've named them Recall Lenses! Let me know if there's any problems! I'll keep you posted with any updates I design but in the meantime, be careful with them!" With that said, she takes off back to the workshop.

I run my hands over the tech, smiling softly. They were painted a brilliant bronze that fit with my costume perfectly. Tugging them on, I push away the faint memory of the blindfold.

On the interface, I notice it keeps track of where I focus with a hardly noticeable dot with numbers next to it. I realize they're coordinates. It kind of reminds me of a video game.

Eventually, I'm back to practicing. With the new tech, I manage to come up with a special move. Fighting with the clone, I think back to what it looked like behind him. The image appears on the lenses and I grin suddenly.

"I call this... Rapid Recall!"

In a split second, I'm behind him. A swift kick to his knees sends him to the floor and I quickly restrain him with a hold locking his arms.

"Was that okay?" I ask nervously before letting him up from the ground.

The clone shakes his head at my question. "You need to stop second guessing yourself and your abilities. It's a fine move. Let's keep practicing."

We're interrupted as Bakugou's yell rings through the gym. "Yo! Watch out! Above!"

I turn to see a large rock falling towards All Might. In a split second, I'm by his side and pop us a few feet back. At the same time, the rock is crushed midair and Midoriya lands in front of us.

"Are you okay, All Might?"

Kirishima and Kaminari pull the freckled boy into a conversation about his new suit and I turn to the hero in question.

"Um... you're okay, right?"

He laughs and pats my head gently. "I'm fine, young [L/n]. You were very quick to get to me. Thank you."

I'm about to head back when Kaminari notices the new addition to my costume. "Yo, [L/n]! Lookin' good! What's with the glasses?"

I blush lightly at his comment, approaching the others. "Oh, um they're a new part of my costume. They record everything and recall what I see so I can use my quirk and teleport there. They also have little coordinates that show where I'm looking."

"Woah! That's really cool! Though they look a little like sensei's, don't they?" Kirishima gets closer to my face to study them.

Stuttering at the proximity, I take a short step back. "I-I guess so... maybe Hatsume based the design on his?"

Midoriya grins, "They look great, [L/n]! It's good that they're like sensei's because, similarly, you don't want people to see where your looking. Not to menti-"

He's interrupted by a loud voice from the entrance. "We have plans to use the TDL from today afternoon on!"

Class B suddenly enters the gym, following their teacher.

"Eraser, you best get out of here."

Sensei turns to him, "We've still got ten minutes left. You've got a little trouble telling time, huh?"

A loud blond in a suit abruptly jumps up. "Hey, did you guys know?! Half of those who take the provisional license exam fail! All of Class A can fail together!!"

He starts to laugh mockingly and I frown at his words. "That's a little rude... wouldn't you want us to do our best? I get class rivalry but-"

Kirishima cuts me off gently, "It's better to just ignore him, [N/n]."

Tokoyami shakes his head sagely. "More than just taking this test together, our fates are forcing us to clash with each other."

"That's why Class A and Class B will be applying to different venues," Aizawa interrupts, drawing our attention.

The other teacher turns to us as well. "The hero qualification exams are conducted every year in June and September at three different locations across the country.

No matter the school, to avoid students from the same school clashing against each other, it is common practice for schools to split up students by sending them to different testing times and sites."

The annoying blond boy sighs with what seems to be relief before beginning another rant. "I can't bring you down myself!! How unfortunate."

I tune him out, turning my attention to what the teachers just said. I never considered the prospect of facing other schools. Who knows how tough they'll be...

Aizawa continues, tearing me from my thoughts. "Across the country, the number of those who receive a provisional license in their first year is extremely small.

In other words, many of those who attend have been training much longer than you... with quirks unknown, they have been honing their skills."

I fidget nervously with the hem of my costume at his words.

"While the test material is unknown, this particular point of adversity is clear. It's not good to think too much about it, but it's something to keep in mind."

The rest of the training days are quickly spent practicing my Rapid Recall and another technique I came up with.

All too soon, it's the day of the provisional license exam. We board the bus early that morning to head for the testing site. I sit with Todoroki and spend most of the ride going over different testing scenarios in my head.

As we arrive to the exam site, Takoba National Stadium, I find myself feeling anxious yet excited. If I get this license, I can save people...

"Get off the bus. We're here."

"I wonder if I'll get a license..." I murmur to myself quietly.

I'm startled as Aizawa-sensei appears at my side. "[L/n]. It's not 'I wonder.' Go and get one."

Nodding at his words, I smile determinedly. "Yeah, o-okay! I can do this."

After making a strange chicken related analogy, he nods to us. "Do your best. Okay everyone, gather round! Ready?"

"Plus..."
