~Same day from previous chapter~

Blake and I just mess around laughing our heads off the entire ride. Downloading snapchat just for the filters is the best choice I've ever made, I have so many funny videos and photos of us it's bloody brilliant. The poor driver must be sick of us, we finally reach where ever Blake decided we were going and thank the driver and hop out. I try to contain myself from the laughing fit that occurred a few moments ago and realise that we are at the ice rink.

Oh no... I think to myself. I whack Blakes arm "I can't skate!" he laughs. I pout "It's fun... trust me." So I do, I do trust him. We enter the building and put on our skates and I struggle even to stand up, it's not a pretty sight. Blake checks his phone "Hey is it alright if George and Reece join us in an hour or so?" he asks looking up at me "Of course, they probably are better than me." As he stands up I try to follow his lead but end up nearly tripping every couple seconds. It's freezing but honestly not that much different to outside as we enter rink I hold onto the railing for dear life. Blake snickers at the sight of me, "Hey hey this no laughing matter I can't do this!" I say not letting go of the railing. "It's easy just follow my lead okay? here I'll teach you." I try to reason with him but he takes my hands off the railing and pulls me further into the centre of the rink. Reality check real quick... Blake Richardson is holding my hands?! I look at my feet slipping 'Maddie don't look down it makes it worse, look at me." Blake says and somehow it actually works. "See? It's easy once you gain balance," he says with a cheeky smile, he's so cute... "You know all this how?" I ask not losing eye contact "Well, it's a good skill to learn especially when you live in England." He says with a wink gosh this boy likes to wink. That sent me off and I begin to blush, losing eye contact and I look down... I start to slip "Woah hey your okay." Blake says with reassurance but I know that I'm gonna fall. I can't get my balance back and I start to slip up a good few seconds then I've fallen on my bum. Blake who was holding my hands unfortunately also came crashing down with me. I hear an ouch from beside me  "I'm sorry"  I giggle. "It's okay pretty good for a first time skating though." Blake offers me his hand so I reach for it and lift myself back up. Somehow Blake Richardson managed to teach me how to ice skate, I mean I still am no good at it but we did an entire loop around the rink without me falling. "You should've seen that from my perspective we were like Bambi on ice." He says with a laugh while pushing his hair back.

We take off our skates for a break and I pass some of my water to Blake when I see two blonde boys walk in and come over to us. "Sorry, we're late!" George says as he fist bumps Blake and Reece says "Nice to see you again Madelyn." I give them both a hug, " You too and you guys can call me Maddie." I say with a small smile. "Blake didn't injure himself or you while he was skating did he?" George asks and Blake pushes him and laughs. "More like the other way around," Blake says with a sly smirk. "Is that right Richardson? You fell also remember?" I say smirking back at him. Reece and George exchange looks and we all put our skates back on and get back in the rink. There's no shortage of laughing George tried to do a twirl and landed flat on his stomach while Reece stood there slipping up way worse than me. To be fair though they weren't like that all the time they were better than me the majority of the time, after about another hour of fooling around we decide to end it there. All of us pile into an Uber and head back to their hotel in town, it's only around 5 pm so I decided to stay there for a while I text my mum to let her know. Blake and I scroll through the videos of us in the rink and crack up laughing in the back of the Uber, I post a few and watch as they blow up in numbers. It's so different driving through the city at night the lights of the buildings glow and the flash of cars driving past flicker.

As the Uber comes to a stop we all pile out of the car and walk into their hotel lobby, Ben awaits seated in a chair to make sure all of us got inside safely. "Hello, Madelyn good to see you again, glad you kept the boy's company," Ben says with a smile then starts chatting to Reece. I hear my stomach rumble which is a tad embarrassing considering Blake definitely noticed and chuckled. "I take it your hungry." He says "A little yeah" I add. "Did you wanna eat in or go out?" I think for a second, everyone seems pretty shattered from the rink. "Let's eat in I'm a little tired," I say and follow Blake into the elevator. We walk down the hallway on the third floor and reach a room. "I shared this room with George but he said he didn't want it because of how it didn't get a good enough view." Blake scoffs and I giggle typical George thing to say. "So where does he sleep then?" I question taking a seat on the couch. "Well, he's got the staff to bring up an extra bed for Reeces room which may I add is only three doors up!" I shake my head. "So food?" I ask. We look through the menu and pretty much order the same thing except I get lemonade and he gets coke which is unacceptable because lemonade clearly is better and we had this argument for about a solid ten minutes.

The food arrives and we sit on the bed and decide to watch Netflix on Blake's laptop, we settle for watching The Conjuring. Since George's bed is still in the room it gives us more pillows and blankets to get more comfortable. I pause the movie and Blake takes the plates outside for room service to collect. "Why did you pick this movie?" Blake says to me as he sits down next to me. "Because it's great and you haven't seen it before!" I say yawning a little bit. I turn the main lights off for more suspense and Blake hides under the covers like a little kid. Chuckling I adjust the pillow behind me. It's getting to the main jumpscares and I snuggle into Blake so I don't have to look. Sometime during the movie, Blake managed to wrap his arm around me which I don't mind at all. I'm so warm and comfy I could doz off any minute now, which I do my eyes slowly shut and I feel Blakes warmth wrapped around me.

I wake up startled it's dark, I'm in an unfamiliar place my mind is racing with thoughts and my heart is beating. Then my brain replays last night and I smile but freak out when I realise I've slept here overnight, I sit up and look around to see Blake coming out of the bathroom. He put's his hand on his heart "God, Maddie you scared the shit outta me." I push my hair outta my face. "Blake... It's late, I'm not meant to be here what If my-" I say but get cut off by Blake who says "Don't worry I hope you don't mind but I messaged your mum from your phone and told her, she's okay with it as long as you get to school on time tomorrow okay?" He says with a calm reassuring voice. I look over to another messed up bed that was perfectly arranged before I fell asleep. "What happened?" I ask. "Well erm, you fell asleep and so did I but I woke up and slept in Georges bed because well you don't know me that well and erm yeah," Blake says a little embarrassed. I smile, "That's thoughtful of you Richardson." I can tell from a distance that he's blushing and he goes to sit back down in the other bed. "We should get some sleep," I say yawning. "Goodnight Maddie." I hear from the bed beside mine. "Goodnight Blake, and with that, I fell right back to sleep.
