Bunos Chapter: King × Kara

Kara and King are neighbors.
They grow up together cause their house are side by side.
Living so close to each other.
But Kara and King never seem close.
Kara even pretend she doesnt know King at school and they dont play too.
Their parents are friends that is why they are force together.
But they just sit down side by side saying nothing.

The adults are helpless about this two young kids.
When they started highschool, King become a star player in basketball and become school's number one idol.

Alot of girls, fan girl him.
Kara is an exemption.

She never shows care and never shows strong hate either.

People thinks she just have someone in his heart.

King has an accident and he twist his foot.
He was brought to the school clinic.

Kara run to him.
"Will you be okay?"
Shw ask teary eyed.

King wipes her tears pretending nothing hurts.
"I will."

Everyone look strange at this exchange and from then on they thought they are a couple.

Tacitly understanding that King wont just comfort anyone and wont smile sweetly but his girl. And that is Kara.

"Kara, you never said King is your boyfriend."

"He is not."

"Oh...but you like him."

"Thats enough." Kara doesnt answer them and just refuse to talk anymore showing displease.

Nothing really changes from how they treated each other.
They dont talk.
They dont seen together.
They arent even friends in FB.

This makes people thinks that they arent really a couple and decided to let it go.
Totally  they forget a sweet scene displayed by the two.

Fourth year, King finally won the championship.
They are always runner up but before he went to college he won his most sooth after award.

King runs to the audience after taking the trophy and hug Kara ignoring all their relatives who come to greet him.
His sweaty body and his rugged voice.
He only hug Kara tightly and cry to her.
Kara pat her lovingly and continuously congratulates him pampering him.

Everyone has a black lines on their faces.
They again decided that Kara is King's girlfriend.

But after that nothing changes again.
Even in graduation day. The two didnt take each others picture. And if their relatives dont pestered them to, they wont take a pucture together.
This makes everyone heart waver and get angry.

"Tell us the truth! What are you two actually?" The girl who cant help but feel helpless ambush Kara and ask.

Kara look weird at her.

"What?"

"What is your relationship?"

"He is my childhood friend." Finally, Kara admitted that they have something in common but this doesnt satisfy them.

"You two are a couple right?" One other girl ask.

"No." Kara said looking at them  seriously.

"What? Just tell us--"

King came and grab Kara's shoulder away from them.
"Are you pestering her?" King ask in angry tone. His face is dark.

"No. We are just asking her some questions."

"Yes. Yes. We are not pestering."

King looks at Kara.
Kara nods.

"Is that so. Hurry. Mom said that they want to celebrate together." His calm face returb and his voice soften.

"Okay." Kara answered and King left just like that.

"You sure you arent a couple?"

Kara nods.
"Our family are just close."

Everyone who heard her make a very angry expression.
They dont know what to feel as they furiously thinks that Kara and King is definitely a couple.

Kara and King study in different colleges.
Everyone who thinks they are a couple wavered again.
They really cant help but be angry at the two who looks so good together.

3rd year in college.
Kara has receieved her very first confession.
A guy in her department courts her and not only did he ask her personally, he even went to her house to ask her parents opinion.
Kara looks at him.
She smiles at someone else for the first time.
Her parents are satisfied and allow him.

King came at that moment and almost kill the guy.
He doesnt even stop when Kara's Dad stop him.

The guy went to the hospital.
King's parents apologize to the guys parents and pay for the bill.
King also apologize to the guy.

"I understand." Is what the guy said after a while.

"You understand now? That temper of yours is the problem." Kara said at the lowered head King.

"When I saw you smiling at him...I lost my mind." He admitted and didnt look up.

"That is not a reason to ruined someone else face. Come here." Kara lift up King's chin.

King is pitifully looking at Kara with a gaze admiring the sky.

"I wont go out with anyone. Didnt I promise you that?"

"Im sorry." King said and hug Kara's waist.
"But I cant help it. My temper is very wild. What if I hurt you when I get too excited?"

"That is why we are separating as much as we can right?"

"But I also misses you."

"Learn how to control that temper. Then we can be together more often."

King nods.
He is trying his best.
But he just cant seem to control his self.

"What if we seek professionals help? We have been hiding it from so long. But we cant seem to see any progress." Kara ask sitting on King's lap.

The guy shudders.
"What if they think I am crazy? And your parents take you away from me? Isnt that the reason why we are hiding it?"

"Later on they will realize. Sides I will stay with you even if you turn crazy."

King looks at kara and Kara look back at her.

"Okay. I dont want to accidentally hurt you."

"Good. We tell Uncle tomorrow."

King nods.
"You promise me you wont leave me okay. I will really turn crazy if you leave me."
He grab Kara's hand and squeeze it so hard. Kara feels the trembling in his hand.

"Okay. I will crazily stay with you."
She said kissing the guy she loves wholeheartedly.
