You were in a very annoyed state, annoyance and anger were sent through your veins and just...constant disappointment. Why? Life was just annoying the ever living crap out of you right now. School began to overload with work and working with your team seemed to have annoyed you a bit more and more. You just had to get away from it all for now. You began to walk around the campus, trying to calm your nerves. As you were walking, you past one of the meditation pools around Haven and gave it a quick glance inside.

What made you do a double take was when you saw her sitting inside. Arslan Altan. She was a close friend of yours and her team and yours were also close. You glanced around and decided to enter. You slowly walked up to her but before you could even say something, Arslan raised her hand and stopped you and kept you in place. You glanced around, looking for a possible solution as to why she did this. Finding no direct reason, you slowly began to move forward until Arslan did the same motion again.

You stopped completely and watched Arslan move her arms around and move everything slowly. She then moved her arms back and got her palms to touch one another and opened her eyes to see you.

Arslan: Hello, (Y/N).

(Y/N): Uh, hi. What are you doing?

Arslan: Meditation. I find it soothes the nerves. Calms the mind. Professor Lionheart didn't add these pools for nothing.

(Y/N): Right.

Arslan: Well, someone seems stressed.

(Y/N): And you got that from...

Arslan: Tone of voice. Walking pace. Urgency for the unnecessary. You have it written everywhere you move.

(Y/N): That obvious, huh?

Arslan: That's one way of it saying, yes. Please, sit down. Enjoy.

You rolled your eyes and sat down beside Arslan in a similar fashion. She began to take in some deep breaths in and out. You tried to do the same, but she placed a hand on your chest and stopped you.

Arslan: Slowly. You don't need to worry about your struggles. Slow it down. (You began to do so as she instructed) There you go.

The two of you began to breath slowly in and out. Things seemed to be at relative peace. You were slowly calming yourself down by the second. While there were still things on this earth that annoyed the crap out of you, it felt nice to let go for a bit.

Arslan: Feel it now, (Y/N)? The stress of the world off of your shoulders.

(Y/N): Is it weird to say "kinda"?

Arslan: A little. What seems to be troubling you?

(Y/N): Just life. School seems to be adding on more than I can take, the team can get really annoying after awhile and...well, I just got out of a bad breakup and-

Arslan: I understand. So, let's practice this. Ease your mind. Breath in...and out.

You did so and Arslan began to walk you back through the process. It was a slow start, but you eventually got the hang of things. After what felt like around a hour, Arslan shocked you awake and gave you times for meditation. So, the days began where you and her would spend at least an hour of your time meditating and getting your mind off of things. However, one subject kept coming back into your mind, your old ex.

She was a terrible person for sure, but you could never get her out of your head. No matter how hard you tried, she was there. It wasn't like it was the end of the world or something, just a large annoyance that you couldn't stand to deal with anymore. During one session, a repressed memory of some times with your ex filled your brain. You shut your eyes tightly before screaming a bit.
