12) "I felt my heart flutter"

Amara POV

Gal pushed me to the wall and kissed me softly. I was on my tippy toes to kiss her because she was too tall for me. My toes became tired so I stood normal making me stop kissing her

In a swift motion, Gal carried me and pushed me to the wall. My legs wrapped around her waist and my arms around her neck. Gal's arms are around my thighs to support me.

We were kissing until someone knocked on the door. I stopped kissing her and lean my forehead on hers "T-The door" I breath heavily and she nodded.

Gal carefully put me down and I went to my desk pretending I'm doing something.

Gal opened the door and I saw Zack.

"Hey babe" Zack said "Hi" Gal said coldly. He finally saw me and He frowned "Dammit, I actually wanted some sex in your office" I heard him whispered to Gal.

Gross. Especially that I'm still a virgin and I definitely don't wanna listen to this

"I-I'm going to go" I said and saw Zack smiling a bit. I look at Gal and saw her with no expression

I went to the door and left. I went to the elevator and press the first floor. Gal's office was at the top floor so it took awhile.

I was standing in the elevator and thought why Gal kissed me?

The elevator stops and I stepped out.

I heard lighting and thunder outside. I took a step outside and saw it was raining hard. I checked the time and saw it was 7:30pm so it was dark outside. Hard Strong Winds hit me and I almost fell.

I can't drive in this weather so I went back inside.

I found a little waiting area so I took a seat there. I looked around and saw no one here. Weird

I decided to go to the floor where Gal office is at. When I arrived to Gal's floor, I took a seat in the far back corner so no one can see me.

All of the sudden, the lights went out. There was power-outage. I began to get scared so what did I do? I went to Gal's office.

I didn't knocked and I saw Zack and Gal on her couch in the middle of the living room.

"Hey! I thought you left! Get out! We're talking important stuff!" Zack said and I heard thunder and I flinched lightly and closed my eyes

After I calmed down, I opened my eyes and looked at Gal "Leave, I don't want to see you" She said coldly and I walk away

I decided to sit in the back corner on the floor. I kept hearing lighting and thunder

I put my knees to my chest and rest my head on the wall. I closed my eyes to think of something happy.

"Hey, mind if I join you?" A voice said so I looked up and saw a girl "Uh Sure" I said. She took a seat next to me on the floor. "Rest your head on my shoulder, it's more comfortable" she said and I giggled "Thanks, what's your name?" I said "Selena Gomez, Yours?" She said "Amara Jones" I whispered "Pretty name for a pretty girl" she said and I blushed

"Go asleep" I heard her whispered

Next thing I know, I fell asleep

Gal POV

"So....do you want to have sex?" Zack said and I scoffed "No" I said coldly "The rain stopped, I think you could go" I said and nodded

I walk him to the stairs since he the power is still out. We said goodbye and I walked back to my office.

As I was walking back, I saw someone in the back corner.

I went up to them and my eyes widened.

I saw Amara sleeping on Selena's shoulder.

I clench my jaw and hands.

I woke Selena up, but not Amara. "Go home, but try not to wake up her" I said and she gently took her head of her shoulder and lay it on the walls. Before she left, I stopped her

"Was she like this before you saw her?" I whispered looking at Amara "Yes, I only came here because she looks scared" Selena whispered and I nod my head

Selena left and I look at Amara. I sigh

I squat down in front of her and gently removed a piece of hair in her face.

I then carried her bridal style to my office and lay her down gently on my couch.

Since the couch was pretty big, I lay down next to her.

I look at her face and smiled softly

I felt my heart flutter and I panicked

I never felt like this to anyone before

Yes, I have a boyfriend, but I don't like him. His parents are forcing me to date him.

My heart has been fluttering since the first time I saw her and I don't know why!

When we kissed, I forgot everything outside and I only focused on Amara

I then fell asleep holding her in my arms
