Bittersweet // Jensoo

Chapter 29

Jennie and Lisa each went back to their own rooms after Jennie calmed down. When Jennie entered the room, Jisoo was already done showering, she was sitting by the dressing table wiping her hair. Jennie walked over and took the towel and started drying her hair. Jisoo smiled and closed her eyes. It was a peaceful moment. After they're done, Jennie leaned down and gave Jisoo a pecked on her forehead, she then said:

"I'll go shower now"

Jisoo smiled and replied:

"Be fast"

Jennie smiled and nodded her head. She had a steaming hot shower, her skin even turned red from the heat, but it calmed her heart. The shower took quite some time and when Jennie came out, Jisoo was already asleep. Jennie smiled and turned of the lights, she dried her hair and wore her pyjamas in the dark.

After everything's done, she walked over and lay down beside Jisoo. Almost immediately, Jisoo's body inched nearer and she hugged Jennie's waist. Jennie smiled and gently stroked her hair. With her eyes still closed, Jisoo mumbled:

"What took you so long?"

"Sorry" Jennie chuckled and replied

"Hmm I'm angry now" Jisoo said

Jennie raised her eyebrows and asked:

"Really"

Jisoo nodded her head, Jennie leaned forwards and gave her a light peck on her left cheek, she then asked:

"Is this enough?"

"No" Jisoo mumbled

Jennie gave her a light peck on her right cheek

"Is this enough?" she asked

Jisoo shook her head

Jennie kissed her forehead and asked:

"Now?"

Jisoo continued to shook her head, Jennie smiled and started to give Jisoo light pecks all over her face, she lastly stopped at Jisoo's lips with a gentle and long kiss. After the kiss, she smiled and asked:

"Enough?"

Jisoo smiled and nodded her head. Jennie laid back down beside and held Jisoo's hands, she touched all fingers for a while the finally said:

"Early in the morning tomorrow, I'll have to go home. You'll stay with Lisa and Chaeng okay?"

"Can't I come?" Jisoo asked

Jennie slowly shook her head and said:

"No"

Jisoo pouted a little. Jennie smiled and said:

"It's okay, you can play with Lisa and Chaeng"

"Alright" Jisoo unwillingly said

"Good girl" Jennie praised

"What time will you be back?" Jisoo asked

Jennie went silent for some while. After a few seconds, Jennie said:

"I can't promise I'll be back, I have things to settle, with my parents, don't wait for me tomorrow night"

Watching Jisoo frowned, Jennie immediately said:

"But I'll try my best, okay?"

Hearing Jennie said that, Jisoo pouted but nodded her head. Jennie smiled and leaned foward to give Jisoo a kiss. Jisoo fell asleep soon but Jennie couldn't. Her brain was in a mess. She just kept on stroking Jisoo's hair with one hair and she held Jisoo's hand with another. But she fell asleep beside Jisoo eventually.
