TEN YEARS has passed and now it's 1995. Icarus has completed high school, college and was now working as a therapist. He had an office at a place four blocks from the apartment he was living at. "Mr. Blood, you have a new patient," the receptionist, Tracy walks into his office.

"Okay.." Icarus nods and she sets down a file. "And Artie went on his coffe run, he made sure to get your usual." She says and Icarus nods, grabbing the file. "Thank you, Tracy," he says as she turns around to leave. She shuts the door and he opens the file to read the information inside.

The door opens again, "Artie, did you get my—" He paused when he saw it wasn't Artie. It was Steve Harrington, dressed in a suit and his hair looked so much more different from when they were younger. Seeing Steve Harrington again brought back a nostalgic and warm feeling in Icarus' heart.

"Harrington.." He said as he stood up and Steve smiled. "Hi." He said and Icarus smiled back. "Oh.. I-I can't leave during office hours.." He says and Steve nods. "Yeah.. I get it. Uh, wanna meet after you're done here?" He asked and Icarus nodded his head right away with a bigger smile.

"I'd love to.." He says and Steve nods his head. "Call me." He says as he grabs a paper from the desk. Icarus watches him write on the piece of paper with a pen, before he hands it over. "Yeah.. I will.." Icarus said with a smile still on his face.

Icarus never looked away as Steve turned around and walked over to the door. He stopped and turned around for a moment with a smile. "I hoped we would meet again.. and I'm glad we did." He said making Icarus' heart skip a beat.

The rest of the day, Icarus was kind of anxious and he almost couldn't focus in one of the sessions with his patient. "Mr. Blood?" The woman who finished sipping her water asked and he looks at her. "Sorry.." He smiled and chuckled.

"About your husband?" He says and she sighs, looking down, she rubbed her knees. "Can I be honest?" She looked up at him and he nods. "Yes. Everything here is strictly kept here, in this very room and I never tell anyone out of this office." He says and she nodded her head, reluctantly.

She looks down again, "it's.. not a husband." She says and he slowly nods. "So.. who is it? A friend or something?" He says and she looks at him. "No.. It's.. um.. my wife." She said hesitantly.

He smiles. "And that's okay.. I-I like men, so you're not alone.." He sayd and she nods, smiling a bit before looking away. "The problem is.. she doesn't want me to meet her parents.. She constantly says they know and that they're proud.. but it's like she's not proud to be my wife.." She said sadly.

"I think you should just be honest.."

That woman was the last patient Icarus was seeing that day so as soon as he was done, he put everything away and got ready to leave. Artie walks in, "sorry, Mr. Blood, I forgot your coffee today." He said. "Oh, that's fine, Artie. I'm headed out anyway, let Tracy know." He says and the boy nods before exiting his office. He slips on his coat.

At his apartment, Icarus debated whether or not Steve after he put his coat away and everything else. He paced the floor when his roommate walks out of his bedroom. "What's up with you, Blood?" Leo asked as he walks over to the fridge.

"I got the number of an old high school friend of mine.. But.. I-I'm afraid to call him." He says and Leo turns around, holding a whole carton of milk he opens to drink. "Call him, loser." He says and Icarus sighs, looking down at the piece of paper.

When Leo went back into his room, Icarus sighed and walked over to the phone on the wall. He starts dialing the number, twirling the cord around his finger as he chews on his bottom lip. There was a feeling brought back to Icarus Blood. A youthful feeling, a nostalgic feeling. He's twenty-eight but felt eighteen calling Steve Harrington.
