I woke up on that fateful Monday with the cold feeling slowly dissolving but I was still very on edge. I looked down at my tattoo the number 016 forever cut into my skin. I shook off my feeling and got ready for my day dressing in black jeans and my favorite (F/C) (favorite color) sweater because of the colder weather outside I walked down stairs and made me and Dustin breakfast. As I was close to being done Dustin walked into the kitchen trying to rub the sleep out of his eyes

Ugh! Dustin yelled why are you always so happy in the morning?! I just laughed at him at put some eggs on a plate for him.

Hi (Y/N) it's Joyce Byers I'm sorry to bother you but have you seen will? I don't think he came home last night she said with worry wrapping up her voice
I'm so sorry ms. Byers but I haven't I answered hating to crush the hope she had that her son was safe but don't worry! I said quickly I'm sure he just wanted a head start on school

The cold shot through me again as I looked down at my tattoo I knew no matter how much I wanted to ignore my felling will was not ok something unspeakably bad has happened I just didn't know what yet
