4 ~ Promises

CHAPTER FOUR

SHE didn't listen to Clane. She didn't break up with her boyfriend. Ano bang akala ng Altaraza na 'yan? Na kapag sinabi nito, ay gagawin niya? Hindi!

"How was your vacation in Paris?" Kelly asked her. "Your suitors kept asking me about you."

Yesha glance at her best friend. Kelly is a Fil-Am and already modeling a famous clothing line for teens. Maybe the reason why they jive is because they both wanted to be an International model someday.

"It was fun and..."

Clane's face suddenly crossed her mind. Hindi na siya nakipagkita pa kay Clane pagkatapos nang una at huli nilang pagkikita sa Paris. Ngayon na nakauwi na sila sa Pinas, wala naman siyang napansin na kakaiba sa kanyang magulang patungkol sa sinasabi ng mga itong pagpapakasal niya sa isang Altaraza.

She didn't even ask her father about Clane and her daddy did the same to her. It confused her for some reason, kung tinanggihan ni Clane ang daddy niya sa proposal, dapat nabanggit sa kanya, pero hindi... walang sinasabi sa kanya ang ama.

"And what?" Kelly arched a brow. "Wala ka bang ginawang kalokohan? Like usual? Magkwento ka nga."

Inirapan niya ang kaibigan. They are in one of the coffee shop in Bonifacio Global City, she visited Kelly who lives there and to also give a pasalubong, a Prada sunglass and bag.

Sa salamin na dingding ay tanaw niya ang sasakyan nila, nasa labas si Samuel kausap ang personal driver niyang si Rene at ang personal assistant niyang si Delia, mag-asawa ang dalawa.

"Well, I tried to escape with Samuel when we visited the Eiffel Tower, but..." She remembered Clane again. Uh, bakit ba kailangan na palagi niyang naaalala ang lalaking 'yon?! "...I bumped with someone."

"Gosh, a boy?"

"A man."

"Did he get your number? Or, maybe you gave him your IG account!" Paratang nito.

"Duh, no. I discovered that the man was my father wanted me to marry."

Umismid sa kanya ang kaibigan.

"You met him in Eiffel Tower accidentally? Then realized that he's the man your father talks about? What a coincidence? Uh, Wattpad pa more, Ayesha!"

"Seryoso, totoo." Maarte niyang inirapan ang kaibigan. "Pang Wattpad nga, pero totoo 'to, Kelly. He's older than me."

"Bet ko 'yan!" Kelly giggled. "Oldies are well experienced in bed! Mas wild at mas masarap gumalaw!"

Napangiwi siya. Kelly's boyfriend is older than her and she guessed that her best friend is no longer a virgin! Itinatago lang sa publiko ang pagkakaroon nito ng boyfriend para mas maraming endorsement na makuha.

"Okay na ako kay Charlie."

"Huh, puro kiss lang at haplos! Ang lamya ng sex life mo."

"Wag ka ngang bad influence dyan. I promised to myself and to my mom that I will only give my virginity to my future husband."

"Singsing muna bago buka ng mga hita?" Tumango-tango ito. "Sana lang 'no, mapanindigan mo 'yan, Ayesha. Especially that you will be living in Tate after school year, there's a lot of temptation there. I warn you."

"I will not go there for temptation. I will study and pursue my dreams to be a model."

"How about Charlie? Hmm?"

Parang sumakit yata ang ulo niya nang maisip ang kasintahan. Charlie didn't like the idea of her studying and living abroad even he could visit her. Gusto ay palagi silang magkasama at hindi naman pwede ang gano'n.
