Aurora lay in bed, somehow managing a good night sleep after the events of the previous day. Her hair was strewn all over the place and a few strands lifted into the air overtime she exhaled. Nova sat on the end of Aurora's four poster bed and watched as she slept, she admits if someone was doing this to her she would've found it creepy but justified her actions as it was her niece. Nova would've given anything to be able to speak to Aurora a few months ago and, now, here she was, able to communicate with her. It was like a dream come true. Well, almost.
Nova desperately wanted to talk to her brother Sirius and tell him that she was okay. She knew that her death had hit Sirius hard and she needed to tell him that everything was okay. Nova had been watching over Sirius since the day she died. She watched him grieve over the Potter's, she watched him suffer in Azkaban and she watched him reunite with his daughter who acted so much like him. She wanted to grab sirius by his ear, pull him to her and hug him. Hug him until it felt like they would mould together, simply because she missed him.
Aurora fidgeted in her sleep, this wasn't uncommon, but this time she was thrashing around as though she was on fire. However, she didn't look to be in any pain. Nova rushed to her side and began shaking her awake "Aurora!" Nova whisper-shouted. She paused for a second as she remembered that she was a ghost and only Aurora would be able to hear her. Then, a second later, Nova shouted Aurora's name and Aurora shot up in her bed, breathing heavily.
Aurora was trying to form words but was failing so Nova grabbed Aurora's arm and lead her down to the common room where they took seats at either end of the red sofa. "Aurora, tell me whats wrong" Nova instructed, her voice was soft yet demanding. Aurora looked at Nova, their eyes meeting "I think Harry's in trouble"

Aurora sat next to Hermione in Defence Against the Dark Arts and watched as Professor Moody wrote something on the chalkboard. Moody turned to the class and explained that he was teaching at Hogwarts simply because Dumbledore had asked him to.
"Who can tell me how many unforgivable curses there are?" Moody asked. Hermione's hand shot up and Aurora raised hers soon after, Moody looked at Hermione and nodded, she then replied "three, sir"
"so named?"
"because they are unforgivable" Hermione's voice broke slightly
"the use of any of them will"- "earn you a one way ticket to Azkaban" Moody cut Hermione off. His magical eye scanned across each and every student as he looked around at the class in front of him, he then asked the class the names of these three spells. Aurora tuned out of the lesson and began scribbling on a piece of parchment. Moody stared at her and let her be, he knew how powerful she was.
Suddenly, Nova appeared beside Aurora and Aurora jumped back slightly and put her hand on her heart. She looked round to make sure no one noticed what she did and it seems no one did. She then glared and Nova "what are you doing?" Aurora asked sharply. Nova laughed "sorry, sorry, sorry". Aurora smiled a little at her aunt and the two continued their conversation. To make communication easier and have less of a chance of being caught, Aurora would write down what sh wanted to say on the parchment in front of her and Nova would speak in response.
Hermione looked over at Nova wondering what on earth she could be writing about and began reading what she wrote. It didn't make sense.
What are you doing here?
Stop making me laugh.
I'll speak to you after class.
Nova! I need to focus!
I was I promise!

Aurora was in the library after class looking for new books to read. She's always loved reading, ever since she was young. Rosie always told her that she got it from her uncle Regulus who died before she was born. Aurora sat at one of the desks and began reading a book about quidditch, after all, it was the closest she was ever going to get to playing it with the way Rosie was acting.
On the other side of the room stood a young man, no older than 19 or 20, looking through the restricted section whilst sneakily keeping an eye on the Aurora. Then, deciding he wanted to get a closer look at her, he swaggered over and took a seat at her table whilst holding a book to cover himself despite knowing that Aurora wouldn't be able to see him, or so he thought.
As he pulled the wooden chair out from under the table and took a seat, Aurora looked up. She caught the boy staring at her "what are you doing?" she whispered. Regulus looked behind himself and then directed a finger at himself "me?" he asked "yes, you. Who else would I be talking to?" Aurora replied. She couldn't help but feel as if she knew this man sitting in front of her. He wasn't a student, he didn't look like one and wasn't wearing any uniform so it made her question who this man was. She also knew he wasn't a teacher as any new teachers are announced during the beginning of the year assembly.
"You can see me?" Regulus asked Aurora. He was in utter shock.
Something inside Aurora clicked and she realised that this man in front of her was dead, a ghost, and was sitting in front of her making conversation "oh, not this again" she groaned. The librarian, madame Pince shushed her and went back to her paperwork.
Regulus, being the funny man he was decided to make a, terrible, joke "what? Not happy to see your uncle Regulus?"
