Nille, sitting up in her bed, couldn't stop thinking about that child she saved. "It was the right thing to do." she tried reasoning to herself. "But what if... no that won't happen." She stressed over till later she was called to go out of the cave on a scouting expedition.
The scouting party was an important job in the kobolds lives as they go out to see if any thing would be coming to close to the kobolds hide out. Also they used this time to gather materials for the trap makers and many of the other jobs that the kobolds had. Usually they would be in a group of six and split up again into groups of two. This way they would gather more ground when scouting. Nille chose Tugs to go with her every mission. Nille trusted him more then anyone else in the village.
Nille and Tugs come about a path and crouch in the bushes. "Nille, I have a question" Tugs said. " yea?" Nille said not thinking anything of it. " ell you have been a bit more quiet than usual, is something wro..." before Tugs could finish his words, hooves went down the trail, full speed towards there village. Nille, sat there wide eyed, terrified.
