Chapter 4: room 164

"Nah nah honey I'm good I could have another but I probably should not" I sing along to the words and I dance around just for fun

"I got some-" I get interrupted by my phone ringing I answer my phone "hello?" I say

"Hi, is this Kara Danvers?" Some lady asks me and I wear a confused look on my face

"This is she, may I ask why?" I asked

"Lena Luthor has been shot and beat, she is now in the E.R and you were on her emergency phone numbers" the lady says and I gasp

"Oh my god I'm on my way" I say and hang up putting my shoes on and running out of the door to the hospital.

"Hi I'm her for lena Luthor" I say in a rushed tone

"Your name?" The lady said to me

"Kara Danvers, a lady called me and she said she was in the E.R and I was her emergency phone number and I need to see her" I say quickly

"Are you related to her in anyway?" The lady asked me

"Uh no, I'm her girlfriend" I say and the lady nods

"She's in room 164 on the 3rd floor, you can see her now if you'd like" the lady said and I mumbled a thank you and ran to the elevator and selected the 3rd floor, tapping my foot impatiently. When the bell finally dinged I ran to room 164 and opened the door to see lena hooked up to many machines

"Oh my god!" I gasped and covered my mouth as my eyes started to get teary and I soon started balling my eyes out.

After about an hour I was still sitting there with Lena waiting for her to wake up "lena please wake up, I need you" I say and I kiss her cold lips and start to cry on her shoulder "baby please" I say and then I feel a light squeeze on my hand "lena?" I say and sit up "lena do that again" I say and I feel another squeeze and then Lena opens her eyes and sits up slowly

"Ugh" she groans

"Oh my god Lena!" I yell and I lean in and kiss her and she jumps back

"Who are you? Why did you do that?!" She yells and all of a sudden a doctor ran in

"We heard screaming- your awake! Let me check somethings" the doctor says to her and I just sit there almost crying because she didn't remember me

"Do you remember me lena?" I ask and she looks at me

"No... who are you anyways? Are you like important?" She asks and I stand up

"Nope I'm not important to you, I'm just your girlfriend" I mumble and I walk out of the room and I go to the bathroom and start sobbing and I fall on the floor "how can she not remember me?" I ask myself

"This is your house and I'll stay here with you for a few days to make sure nothing bad happens" I say as I walk into Lena's house with her

"Okay" She says and I show her around the house and where everything is

"If you need anything I'll be in the living room" I say to lena as she lays down in her bed

"Okay thank you" She says and I smile

"I'm sorry what I did to you I just didn't know you forgot me, I mean you did forget me on purpose it's just I-" I say but lena interrupts me

"Kara it's fine I get it, I mean we were dating and then something happened" lena says and I nod

"Sleep well Lena" I say and walk out and I sit on the couch with my head in my hands and I start to cry just thinking about all the things she doesn't know

"Hey baby" I say when I see lena come out of the room "sorry force of habit" I say

"Hey Kara" She says and sits at the table as I bring out two plates of food

"What did you dream of?" I ask lena

"I don't remember" she says and I frown "why?" She asks me

"Oh I'm just seeing if your remembering"  I say and Lena just nods "is it good?" I ask, pointing to the food

"Yeah it's really good" she says and I stare because of how cute she looks right now "What is it? Do I have something on my face?" She asks while touching her face and I shake my head

"No your just... your just cute" I say and she looks at me and nods, not really showing any emotions "I'm going to the store later do you want to come?" I ask her and she shakes her head no "do you need anything?" I ask and she shakes her head again and I nod "Okay I'm just wondering" I say and get up, putting my plate in the sink and go get ready for the day.

"I'm heading out I'll be gone for around an hour, if you need anything just call me" I tell lena and I hand her, her phone and I tell her the password and I head out to the store.

Lena's pov

I was looking through my phone when I found a contact under the name my baby 💞 and I tapped on the messages to find that the messages were from Kara and she was telling the truth about being my girlfriend. As I looked through the messages I see a picture of us kissing each other and another picture of us just smiling and Kara looked so happy and now she just looks like her whole world ended. Maybe it did...
